Hats off to kevvie. Losing Reynolds really unsettled things in the first half. Then we just came out in the second half on fire. It’s a big difference to our previous seasons where we fade badly. That is a huge win without Reynolds considering our back up goal kicker also nailed his conversions.

That was the real deal. Yeah we were incredibly lucky but even so, the end result showed we would have won easy regardless.

Mam had some moments early on when the nerves got the better of him but I thought he warmed into the game well and did himself proud in defence. You’d be happy with that debut and I don’t want to rush him but I think Gamble will be looking over his shoulder.

We got some absolutely bullshit calls our way tonight. I would have preferred to win that without some of those calls.

Otherwise, was a decent game against a desperate side, but I feel a lot of that pressure Newcastle felt came from the bunker and the redlf and it should have been a closer game.

Oates and Cobbo looking hot to trot. TMM is still not a great attacking FB, but he sures up the D so well.

What a fucking win... Cobbo was immense... one of the great winger's games in a long time, because so much of it was from inside our own half.

Huge to get the win without Reyno... boys struggled in the first half, but completed the sets and played simple and direct in the second.

Congrats to Ezra on getting a win as well.. had a tough first half but played the percentages in the second and found himself some breaks

His cut out to put cobbo away was mint

Thought TMM was running with more intent and seemed less afraid of contact. His cut out to Cobbo was pure class.
