NOT CROSS FORUM NRL 2022 Round 21 Discussion

I think this is part of the problem with current group of players at the club to be honest, they switched off knowing they should make the finals, they also seem at times to be happy just doing 'enough'................. no killer instinct.

I think they over achieved mid season .
Next year Kev will want to go deeper into finals . I think he knows his players need more experience .
Hence Mariner / Tesi / Ezra playing in front of old pro s .

**** people have short memories!
we haven't gone out and bought a premiership team we're building one , I'm going to stoked just to be in the 8. Just because we got into the top 4 dosen't mean we're a top 4 team yet, patience people.

From 16th to a top 8 spot in the course of two years. You have to look at the big picture, dude. As a fan, I am ecstatic that the Broncos are no longer easy beats.

Not going to happen, there is undeniably a high sense of entitlement across us Bronco fans

Some just can't fathom the concept of a long-term development plan to get back to the top

Well the cowboys have gone from 2nd last to 2nd and are genuine contenders. There’s no reason we can’t have achieved the same with wins over the tigers and lower placed roosters. That’s what sticks in my craw eh.

The Cowboys have a far superior roster though as evidenced by the two meetings this year. The likes of Holmes, Drinkwater, Robson, Dearden, JT2, Hammer, Nanai, Gilbert, Neame, Cotter would all walk into this Bronco side. Brisbane have done well with what they have got. They have exceeded everyone's expectations. I guess the Cowboys have as well.

I am not giving up on them yet. We were 2/6 and then turned things around and went on a run.

If we can have a solid win this week and restore some confidence and try and play ourselves into a bit of form, we might have a chance of knocking over the Storm who look to have the staggers. If we can jag 3/4 or even better 4/4 from here, we could hit the finals with a bit of momentum for once.

Crazy to think we could finish the year 14-10 and miss the finals, yet last year the Titans made it with a 10-14 record.

not possible.

unless the Raiders win all of their games by 30+

Or if we get towelled up by the Storm and/or Eels.

Raiders would need to win their last 4, if they do that their F/A will improve a lot.

They're doing really well and I rate them above the Broncos but they've also had a lot go their way and have had very little adversity to face. Even when they lose a player like Heilum Luki they gain a marquee signing like Luciano Leilua on a pittance.

It's like anything in life you've got to run your own race. The past two weeks have been disappointing from the Broncos but they have the means to turn it around and put in a good showing come finals.

Panthers look like they have a slight edge here defensively.

Good for us.
