I’d drop Staggs before Riki but they both need to improve. I think Riki isn’t an 80 minute player and should be getting subbed for Robati or Piakura

No, I'm not defending Turpin, I'm saying Walters was no better, and the last couple of weeks has been worse. I'm pointing out that Jake is the current whipping boy, while Billy is getting a free pass.

Both are shit but Walters at least has utility value. To be honest I wouldn’t be upset if we kept Turpin over Walters or let both go. Paix is far better than either of them and even he is average.

You can't put too much fault onto Walters, he hasn't been training all week to play halfback. Turpin has played his career at dummy half and look terrible from kick off. He throws balls behind runners instead of out infront of them. Turpin has brought this team down in my opinion and you can always say you can't blame 1 player, well I put a great majority on him.

Riki has had some good games and completely lost us other ones dropping the ball several times per game often in possible scoring situations.

Turpin can tackle, but not stop players or wrestle which is bad. His service from dummy half is not even ISC worthy. No club wants anything to do with him for a great reason.... he kills momentum. He can't hit the chest consistently and he has no threat. He's a deadset spud

Haven't improved the last 4 weeks. This team doesn't know what they are doing in attack or defence .
Mo idea how to move a team around and no clarity on where they want to aim the attack, so someone thinks kicking is then an option but no one knows that's coming either.
Defensively we managed some line speed in the second half when Hosking was on, so def need him next week. First half D was putrid, 2 in a tackle and no control on the ruck speed sees us stuck waiting or going backwards too often.
Then there are our dumb as **** unforced errors. Ezra is 19 and learning in first grade . Gamble isn't as talented but he lifts that side.
We were never winning a comp this year but I feel we have regressed so much we've lost ground on last year.
Kev hasn't been able to fix our slide in the last month , in fact we have gotten worse, then HTF can he fix it next year with the same squad and clearly no answers.

Payne Haas and Kotoni Staggs are looking like they don't want to be there, 2 of our highest paid players, one is the one of the softest forward in the NRL and the other is a bloke who would be happy to not touch the ball all game. These 2 need to stand up. All the hate goes to Turpin and Riki but atleast they give 100%.

Ezra is a talent and will be great but I feel the last few weeks he has been found out abit. Tonight showed just how important Gamble in that 6 jersey or in the squad somewhere once we lost Reynolds it was over nobody took control of the team.

Corey Oates deserves every award at end of season. I think it would of been 70+ if he wasn't playing.

Eels showed up tonight like Melbourne last week they played there best footy of the year and you can't win a game when you get dominated with possession.

These teams “show up” a lot against us and it’s more because we let them do as they please. We drop balls or give away penalties that match them down the field. Then our line defence doesn’t hold and suddenly we’re down 18-0. Add in a kick off out on the full, injuries and poor coaching and it becomes 50-0

One thing I have been noticing is that the third defender seems very reluctant to come in around the legs. I noticed it against the Knights, they were coming in for the tackle far too slow and even when they did it seemed very awkward.

If the first tackler would go low they wouldn't need the third defender to go low. I hate how our first two defenders go high then let the attacker walk 5-10 metres with the ball before a third defender stops their momentum.
