Cobbo just has a habit of taking on a sliding defensive line, he gets bundled into touch so much. Between all of that though, you can see there's an elite player there somewhere.

We just have to be patient, but at this stage he looks more a centre/winger. I would have put sailor in 30 as walsh's back up (similar player) but that ship has sailed and cobbo, though a very different player, definitely can create havoc. It just wasnt his night.
One thing has been shown. He doesnt slip into his shell like a few others there after an error

The Fox Sports anti-broncos bias is so blatant. The headline playing all post match is that ‘Broncos STOLE victory’ as if we didn’t deserve it and every comment by these 3 morons is about how the Broncos ‘got away with one’… they’ve used that exact phrase twice and called us ‘lucky’ multiple times.

we didn’t get away with anything and didn’t steal a damn thing .. we came into the house of the reigning premiers and smacked them in the mouth. It wasnt luck it was all heart. Let’s see what they say when we take down the cowboys next week too

I also noticed in this game that luai has this habit of interfering with tacklers when they are forcing his team mates back in the tackle.

He gets in there and attempts to pull defenders off to stop backward momentum.

Yes Cobbo made a couple mistakes and done some silly runs over the side line but other than that he was great tonight. He was solid under the high ball and took the hard runs every set. He made terrific metres and made the most runs out of our side. He is our future fullback once Reynolds retires and Walsh go to the halves in my opinion.

Fucking epic defence... every time penrith went left it looked like the winger had a little bit of space, but got swallowed up quickly.

Liam Martin has become a weapon for penrith last few years, but was shut down pretty well.

I thought Edwards and then Soni were their biggest threats tonight, but we shut down Cleary, shut down Luai, shut down Yeo...

They had all the ball all the field position and we had every reason to collapse under pressure with all the coach killer errors, but we kept hanging in there and turning up... massive massive effort from the boys
