Broncos Roster, Signings and Rumours Discussion 2023

I thought I said he was a perfect replacement for Adam - that is, a senior half - but no Broncos fan would want him. Everything else you made up maybe because you're a "gutter journalist," but that's not a term I'd use to insult you, because I'm too nice.

If you are calling for a senior half and that is your goal posts, wouldn't Reynolds, Moses, Fogartty, Wighton, Foran or Keary make more sense? All are available at the same time and all far more capable of running a team on evidence than Luai.

Anyone who isn't Luai would make more sense because we all hate him. Not because he isn't one of the most damaging halves in the league who could play 6 or 7 with Mam, Walsh or whoever. That doesn't even come into it. I never once suggested we even consider him.

I'm bored now.

Is Luai really that damaging though? If anything, I'd argue him and Ezra are extremely similar players currently. Then, if you factor in wage, you are likely going to need to pay 800k-1 million for a guy who you really don't know is going to be able to run a team and play as a senior half. Why not just keep Ezra and go for a player that compliments as opposed to one who is basically the same but also pretty much hated by everyone AND will be extremely expensive?

You said like for like. When they are almost exactly opposite.

I thought he was the standout of the World Cup until the final. He's a terrific player. Or at least, has been.

Luai is a ****.
Was my point.

I really am a terrible person.

Considering how he stood over Cobbo in origin, how Cobbo feels about him and probably other QLD players in the team at the very least, I doubt we would go down the Luai path, and thank **** for that.

Get Luai to Broncos & instantly drive up The memberships, fan base. The lone sin to murder ourselves in broad day light.

Cobbo’s feelings don’t hold much wait at the broncos if Kev is anything to do by

Should the Broncos go after Lewis Dodd. He would become free to slot into Reynolds spot, and could even be mentored by Reynolds.

I wouldnt say he is a Reynolds type 7, he's more like a Ben Hunt. He wants to play NRL next year apparently so i think he would be off our radar.
