Talking with my son last night watching Foxsports and said “see how good grand final week is with your team in the game…ALLLLL they talk about all week is the broncos!” And he just sat there staring and smiling at the telly. He was too young to remember 2015.

I did warn him that it’s very bad if we lose but he has a better constitution for that then I do, having grown up in the dark era where that’s the only thing we did.

I've seen and heard this a few times now about off-loading and I don't understand where it's coming from that the teams that beat Penrith off-load.
The Eels didn't beat Penrith with offloads.
Penrith's losses in 23.
Broncos' offloads 4- av 10
Eels' offloads-12- av 13
Souths- offloads-10- av 7
Tigers- offloads-5- av 12
Cowboys- offloads 5-av 7
Eels- offloads 13- av 13
Souths were the only team that performed above their average offloading to win.
Three of those teams are in the top three off loaders in 23- Broncos, Eels and Tigers. But three of the top five off loaders didn't even make the finals Tigers, Eels, Dogs so it's not a golden ticket.

The first article I read with this offload crap being pushed was an opinion where the author was asking the question, is this what will be the key in beating Penrith. That was probably a normal journo, then the rugby league journos took hold of it with their usual dickheadedness.

My thoughts exactly this morning. although I did for a minute say to myself I'm not really feeling it, and then anther voice in my head said "well how disinterested would you be if the boys were not in it this Sunday?" I then remembered how the last seven GFs were good but not great as they were obviously missing something.
I also think that I'll enjoy this final even more this Sunday as this time I'm feeling so calm and serene. I have the continual feeling that "we're not expected to win it" so it's sort of like a free hit we're getting.
The emotions will go through the roof if we do manage to pull it off as we have *Fatty voice - "a thousand" back stories that will come to fruition.
I'm not a betting man, but I was thinking I'd bet on the Clive Churchill winner (I won $3,000 the last time I did when I backed S. Berrigan back in 2006). But who do I back?
