His PTB will help things happen on the next cpl of plays .
He is hard to put on the ground and gets fast PTBs .
Him and Baker can speed up the Broncos ruck if they are allowed .

A nice early season test of our depth for 2024.
Keep in mind this team is still coming together and working on new combinations.

Walters confirms Payne Haas won’t play. Will consult specialist, as he’s currently playing with knee pain. MRI scan shows no issue, with surgery unlikely at the moment. Time frame for return to play TBC.

Riff are also without JFH and are looking a bit off compared to last year. We still have guns across the park, namely Walsh. We just need Marty, baker, hetho to come ready to put in that extra 10-20% to cover Payne’s meters.
