Got to work on our line dropouts, we don't contest them enough properly.

We look good in attack, but our backline in defence look all over the place. Even with Walsh as our fullback we have no organisation skills from that position, and especially our left side look like they all are defending as individuals. We need to get back to defending as a unit again.

Reyno gone, that’s game over.

Few takes from the first half;

Ref needs to stop being so involved in the game. So many petty penalties and 6 agains.
Cobbo is just lazy. He refused to back up Mam on that break, looked like he slowed down when Mam looked at him.
Hunt is a concern defensively on that left edge, Mam needs much more help especially close to the line.

And obviously Reynolds knee could be a big concern.

In what can only be called a silver lining - I have Eli katoa on my SVRL Bench 😬

Pleased with that even if we go on to lose. the storm are playing at home at full strength (nas is available, they just haven’t picked him), have Klein guiding them around the park, and are playing pretty much at their peak.

Piakura isn't there.

Reyno looked to be grabbing more at his hamstring I thought. Not good though.

Can we just stop with the short drop outs. We rarely get the ball back and we are just gifting the Storm a full set on our line.

One positive I can see is that without 6 agains and penalties the Storm look to be struggling to get out of their half. Unfortunately the ref is Klein so he is looking for any opportunity to gift the Storm some 6 again action.
