Does anyone really care that Kev's wife called the Broncos a pack of c-words? I mean, she's kind of right in many ways. One of the least rewarding aspects of my life has been supporting this dumb ass club and if the people in charge had made smarter decisions along the way, it probably wouldn't be. So yeah, the club is mostly run by a pack of useless kents and unfortunately I don't see that changing anytime soon, at least until a few more people are given a tap on the shoulder.
do I care? Not really. Do I think it matters, yes. The level of immaturity it takes to have spill your personal business on social media and then call people ***** is pretty concerning

any word on when Walsh's contract has been sorted, he is the most important puzzle at this point to be solved.

After that Willison, Looks like cobbo is gone which I predicted awhile ago it was either him or Staggs, Staggs has a lower ceiling but is probably a better bet consistency wise as well as keeping standards.

if we can get some cheap outside backs to do the job maybe a potential Herbie reunion, I feel he is the type of player this team needs, just a hard working no frills type.

Fox sport website talking about what players other clubs could pick up after the Nov 1 deadline has four Broncos going to four different clubs.
I mean get ****ed Faux sport! Suggest some other players FFS! There’s heaps more coming off contract in 2025 other then just our boys.

Zero rorters, storm, or riff players mentioned in that article btw. Are we just meant to supply the NRL with stars and get nothing out of it? At least clubs like Ajax in Europe get paid big dollars to develop players for other sides - we get nothing.

I thought I did see a riff player but he was reserve grade and I’ve never heard of him.

Those clubs tend to be professionally run with a good R&R team that make sure key players are locked up before entering free agency. We don't and so we then have to overpay to keep our players. We also don't have an owner with free betting shares to use to top up contracts.

Yes, yes that is exactly what the NRL and the media expect from us lol

Super League War 2.0, **** this shit lets do it.

Theoretically, who do you reckon would join us?

I'd like to think the other QLD teams would. Which of the Sydney teams are jack of the NRL too? Storm would likely stay. I reckon with our relationship with the Warriors they might consider it.

It's an interesting thought experiment.

Tick, tick, tick.

Tristan Powell is a front rower. And I’d put Vaihu as a dual centre as well.

I’m not that keen on Shibasaki if I’m being honest probably the worst to have given an opportunity to.

For mine Powell is far and away the most likely to be of use to us. Seems a weird one to be let go of Melbournes system he seemed only a year or two away from really clicking into a player of value. I think he is one we should grab a hold of personally. Different body type to what we have in abundance of in the middle forwards.

Vaihu is an ex Aus schoolboy union player who really only just started getting his opportunity at super level when the Rebels went under. Was playing super week in week out he has more talent and ability than most guys running around in league deals. No prior league experience until the back end with souths I don’t believe so he is quite raw. His talent is more than you’d think. I think it’s not a bad change for him tbh and I think he can be a winger/centre you can rely upon that can make metres and have good finishing ability, etc.

Philitoga I haven’t watched but he has 12 in 10 this year and makes metres. At 23 that’s someone you can invest a train and trial into. But at the end of the day why is somebody that’s doing those things not getting more of an opportunity? Usually comes down to the fact they love a good error. The opportunity is unreal here though.

Callum Eggerling. He works well with Mozer, he is someone I can definitely see in the NRL with that lock/hooker versatility. Has a good attitude, super fit. I think he is more likely to provide us value at lock with Mozer, Walters, Paix, Smoothy and Bukowski all in our system but still I think it’s a decent T&T to give out.

Latrell has heaps of talent don’t get me wrong but the question has to be asked why has it never stuck anywhere with that talent. It comes down to attitude and professionalism for mine. Does he have it to make the jump up? Big questions on him for mine but losing Sailor and now to an extent Mam not a bad guy to just see what he’s got.

Seem to be prepared to lose one of staggs or cobbo by the looks of that

I wouldn't read too much into train and trial players... I think they're typically picked by the affiliate clubs as an incentive to join the club in the first place or a reward for the season they had.
