I'm keeping an eye on Adam Christensen at Burleigh.
He was a stand-out of their 2023 Colts squad and earned himself an NRL deal with the Rabbitohs where he starred in NSW Cup. He's returned to Burleigh this year and he's been very solid so far.
I wouldn't bend over backwards to pick him next week, but if I was Madge I'd make some enquiries.

Surely we can find a workhorse/toiler type of player? JFC. I don't even care if their attacking prowess is shit, just be a good defender. Seriously, It doesn't seem too much to ask or would break the bank.

Do we think Jet or Powell will get called up??? - they are specific 2nd rowers so more like for like.

Likely it’ll be pick the best 17 and make them fit rather than pick a genuine second rower. Usually the case unless it’s a spine position.
I don’t mind it in this case as it’ll hopefully give BTK a run

I think we would have to put in a request to name Powell, as he is a T&T deal, I'm not sure that would be accepted given we have Patty, Willison, etc. that could also play second row... but who knows how restrictive NRL with it.
Jett I'm unsure, but might have a Dev Deal, so he could play... I'd say he is a very very long shot though... I think he's still playing Meninga Cup so that's a big call to go from schoolboys footy straight to NRL.
I think Gos and Hunt get the gig and Marty or BTK get the call up, with Patty and Willison the ones that move out if the two starters can't make it through the full 80mins

But Powell isn't top 30 / development list player so he is unable to play until at least round 11
