Jett Bryce could possibly get a call up as he is a development player

But Powell isn't top 30 / development list player so he is unable to play until at least round 11

Bryce has never played Cup. You’d be picking him from Meninga which has never been done before.

His form is good Meninga form but it’s not NRL form.

Would you be confident if Maguire gave Powell a shot given he is already sort of in the squad?

Not at the moment.

Powell is an honest toiler but he's yet to find that next gear. I'd sooner see Te Kura or Taupau come in with Carrigan, Willison or Kobe shifting to an edge.

If the Broncos were to blood a young gun, it'd be between Bryce, Horne and Verhoeven. Even so, I'd hate to envision the scenario where Madge even begins to think that way.

Then again, Gosiewski and J. Hunt will have their work cut out for them this weekend.
