Broncos Roster, Signings and Rumours Discussion 2025

You've nailed it but unfortunately, I don't see much of that, at least not worded well from Haas.

He said most of that ... He even said on a few occasions that the club is bigger than him.

I think he learnt, or at least is attempting to avoid the mistakes he made previously ... It looked like the fans booing him cut him pretty deeply

Saw Payne and his daughter at Gasworks this morning, we exchanged head nods. It's kind of hard to tell on TV but he's really really jacked guys.

Hope he re-signs.

My brother has bumped into two former broncos in the last couple of days. Isaako was at Valleys the other night watching his niece or nephew train, brother did the awkward head nod and got a "Hey bro" in return lol.

Bumped into Fleggler in a medical center...awkward nod and got one in return. Worst part though...

"You here about your shoulder mate?"
"...yeah"
"Good luck mate"

He felt like a dickhead afterwards and I agreed with him. I mean, why the **** else would he be in a specialist medical center? It's like bumping into someone at coles and saying "Doing some shopping eh?"

How much gas did he buy? Was it a conservative bottle that someone moving homes in 12 months would buy or did he buy a bigger amount that someone who was looking to settle in for while would buy?

Slothfield into the act, reporting on our tight salary cap ... He's taking a slightly different direction though, saying that Reynolds may be forced into retirement because of our cap situation.

Slothfield does say that Reynolds should consider signing with Hull KR (who are apparently chasing him), since he doesn't want to play for another NRL club

the only quote in the article is from Dave Donaghy, and he certainly doesn't even insinuate not signing Reynolds for next season if he wants to play on.

Dave Donaghy said:

“Reyno’s a huge part of our club, he’s our captain and he’s very much become part of Brisbane too,” Donaghy said, “Madge and I have a great relationship with Reyno and we know he’s super passionate about the Broncos.

“It’s only early in the season. We want to give Reyno the space and time for him to get through some games of footy and see where his mind and body is at. He’s earned that right

“None of us want to rush a decision, from our end that’s out of respect for Reyno more than anything else.

“People like Reyno are hard to find and even harder to replace, he’s been terrific for our club and we’ll keep working closely with both Reyno and Chimes (manager Steve Gillis) as the season goes on.”

He visits Westfield Chermside every now and then along with some of the other players.

You sort of have this idea how big he is watching him on TV, but when you see him in person, he’s a lot bigger.

Grant Anderson having great game today for Storm - great pickup next year - will be an option in backs next year - may have someone convert to back row next year

I'd be having a chat with Madden and if he's in the future plans offer him a chance to go play in England for a year and come back.

And If I'm the guys off contract I'm getting together and talking, if we want to be winning the premiership next year our best chance is with Reynolds in the team so just for that year we need to take a little less.

I'm sure Reynolds will probably take a little less than what's he's on ATM
