FOOTBALL English Premier League 25/26 Discussion

They're dangerous, and doing pretty well in 4th place in La Liga.

They haven't lost often at all, but a few of their ordinary performances have come in Europa, especially away from home.

I'm not writing us off at all, just didn't think it was ground breaking to think we'd lose. Pretty much everyone thinks we will.

You are right, they havent lost much. 6 games in 43 games in La Liga and Europe. While all teams are beatable, their record isnt really backing up they are that beatable. 3 of their defeats in La Liga came in the first 9 games so they have been consistently hard to beat in that competition.

Should be a good game though. United are still in poor form, they didnt really play that well in all reality against Lyon. Defensively they are all over the place as a unit ( i still dont think they have a center half who has been anything but bang average this season ), but if they can keep things tight in Bilbao they are capable of winning at old trafford.

This is the most boring game of football i've seen in a while. Its like watching an A-League game.

What an awful game of football at Old Trafford. We werent at the races and got away with the win.

Very on point for 2025 United to find a way to lose that game

Meh. Bilbao haven't been that crash hot

RIP 20 times chant.

You boys better hope Amorin has a plan for the summer, 15 defeats already and there's still 5 games left. That's relegation form.

I forgot how good Liverpool were under Benitez's last run into Kenny and then Rodgers first and last into Klopps first.

With how much you lot chirp you'd swear Liverpool have had a decade of dominance.

Yeah, United have been terrible for years, but let's not pretend Liverpool haven't had shit spells either. United have hit lower depths, I'll give you that.

It's OK if you didn't actually watch the game or see the team changes etc, absolutely should have won that game today. Credit to Wolves for scoring the one chance they had from a FK.

The league form isn't acceptable and Amorim has said that many times now, and I don't expect anyone that doesn't watch regularly to see the slight improvements, of course we're just hoping he gets some signings he wants to continue the improvements and ideally put the ball in the net when chances are made like they were this morning...

Anyways, enjoy the rest of the season. Title is well deserved. 20x **

relax my dude we are all friends here,
some of us spent 20 years being clowned on by you guys so its hard not to enjoy it a little.

you do have to wonder whether it's going to work out for Amorim though - how long do you give him next year if form is similar?

It's pretty clear United don't give a shit about PL games anymore this season. They even said as much after the Lyon game.

Their focus is Europa League and getting through the PL games with no injuries.

It was an awful game of football really. I dont think either goalkeeper had any save to make of note at all. I didnt once feel we threatened United and i didnt have any concerns they were going to open us up either, as was shown by both sides only having 2 shots on target and nobody worked the keeper.

Its the worst game we have played in months. No intensity, it was like a pre season game where nothing was at stake.

Its a massive gamble, not saying its wrong because whats the difference between 14th and 17th?

But shit, if you dont win it then theres absolutely nothing even remotely redeeming about this season. I guess maybe bringing through some of your kids and the likes of diallo gives you hope for a positive rebuild.

Been way too many PL games like this lately, which has been really disappointing. Because you are absolutely right, it was easily enough to put you to sleep, and if it had have been a 1AM start it probably would have.

Banging FK though.

Looks like Cunha is on his way to United. Hopefully it gets done quickly. Sooner we can move him on the better. He's a cracking player, but most Wolves fans cant wait to see the back of the bloke.

Hmmm, at £62.5m it's going to have to be instalments or it's no chance for United.

The release clause is all up front. If they want instalments, its a higher fee. By all accounts he seems to want to play for Amorim.

Just pay the money up front! If you guys don't then Saudi will.

Hopefully Wolves hold firm and get what they're asking for. It does stink of a United transfer move to pay overs for Cunha
