THE BOSS Maguire Stomped The Naysayers! But...8 Months Later, Here We Are.

Dobbo on Triple M 30mins ago "breaking" the news of the fallout of Marty liking Elijah Taylor's video.

He's apparently in trouble and has to meet with officials tomorrow.
The Taylor video wasn't even that bad... what does it matter if Madge is intense during a video session... you going to tell me Bellamy isn't blowing up during some of his video sessions... he was blowing up when they were up 34-0 on the weekend

I just watched Elijah Taylor's video, and I more or less have no problems with it. he's definitely playing some of it up for his social media bullshit, but if the stuff about ****ing players home/work life balance is true I'm iffy on that. You gotta respect they have lives outside of the 9-5 otherwise they WILL get the shits at you and I wouldn't blame them. That is true of ANY occupation.

The rest? Sounds exactly what these preening turkeys have needed in their lives for a few years. We signed Madge to deliver a reality check, and he's delivering it. The stuff about the meetings? Well maybe if you weren't such a cloudy eyed dumbass footballer with the attention span of a dragonfly you would actually be engaging with it, actively looking for solutions instead of agonizing over how bored you are.

How many videos are there I only saw the one posted on here a few pages back

Yep like honestly. this is professional sport, these blokes are paid six or seven figures a year to perform at the highest level, if they think they can just rock up when they feel like it and then put in effort like you're just playing a game with your mates for shits and giggles and then go home and cash a cheque they are kidding themselves.

Watched all 3 parts now and still don't have any real issues... maybe they don't need to train full contact, but pretty sure Willie has said on Levels that pretty much all teams are doing full contact sessions nowadays and it's completely different to when he was a player.

I think they were talking about that with Kevvie last year... sounds like that is just part of the normal prep nowadays.

Meetings... I'm assuming he is just over exaggerating to the max... what do footy players even do meetings about... would it just be individual video sessions and stuff... last year there were complaints about getting no video sessions.

My opinion is that Madge doesn’t even seem like a good bloke… his coaching history is patchy, and he just looks like a ****wit…

I ride with party cardigan if it comea down to it…

That's the issue. They are expecting that, and yes, they are kidding themselves.

Looking from the outside in, I must admit it feels like Madge is a bit paranoid and 'touchy' about being flagged as a tough coach, he definitely tries to down play it and it comes off as a real sore point for him.

I don't know why he just doesn't farken own it.
