FOOTBALL English Premier League 25/26 Discussion

I don't like it.

Will support him and hope it goes well but just not a signing that does much for me.

I haven't seen enough of him to have a strong opinion, but I do wonder how much he'll be playing in the fullback position.

Based on what I've read, he doesn't seem like much of a defender, but is absolutely rapid and likes to bomb forward... perhaps he'll be cover for Bradley, but also play further forward in Salah's position, maybe with a view to starting there once Mo moves on.

But also, maybe it's just a money-ball type signing - the price is good, and we can move him on for a profit down the line if need be.

Jeez I wouldn't have started so many of the players that will be named for the final.

Give them 15-20 minutes off the bench.

Would be nice to put a big dent in Chelsea's CL hopes, but it's a meaningless game. Just hope for no injuries.

Sarr injured during Spurs match, went off and went down the tunnel with the medical staff.

Come on that's not a penalty.

Onana gets the ball and then grazes his foot with the elbow.

Chelsea getting desperate and the dives are becoming more frequent.

They have to win here with Villa winning against Spurs.

I have to say... the dedication to provide live commentary when your team is 16th and totally irrelevant is somewhat impressive!

Reports are Real Madrid will pay the release clause for Alvaro Carreras. We have a favourable sell-on clause so we'll get money from that.

Sounds more like they are going to buy back Miguel Guiterez from Girona as the have a 9 million Euro buy back clause for him. He was rumored to be going to Atletico Madrid but that appears not to be the case now.

Cunha almost here we go.

Personal terms agreed. But there is still the issue of the fee. I haven't seen anything to suggest that Wolves will accept the release clause being paid in installments.

Cunha on his own won't work. We also need to sign another striker that's PL proven (likely), another winger that can find the pass rather than taking on defenders and trying to shoot from the edge of the box and another midfielder. If we can get all that, I can see Cunha being huge for the club.

I hope this happens soon. We can't wait to see the **** out of our club. Good riddance to him.

I doubt we will accept instalments after the way he carried on to get this release. Release clauses are up front or pay up more money. I certainly wouldn't be doing him any favours at all to get him this move.
