It's like talking to a bunch of spoilt children. No concept of the fact we were the worst team in the comp at the end of 2020 and then played a gf 2 seasons later having the most successful season we'd had since 2006.
Anyway we should all quit comparing madge to Kevy. I am the worst culprit so ill talk in a language all the kevy hating chimps can understand..

Give it a rest. We weren't any better than the Seibold era at the end of 2022 and 2024. This is not what's happening now.

Why are you comparing mid-May results with late-August / early-September? We will end up with similar results if the trend continues going the same way it is right now by then.
More accurate reflection:
2024 same round: Broncos 13-12 over SEagles
2023 same round: Broncos: 4-15 loss to Panthers
2022 same round: Broncos 12-40 loss to Panthers
2021 same round: Broncos 12-20 loss to you guessed it - Panthers
2020 same round (Covid affected): Broncos 0-48 to Tigers
Comparatively, Kevvie was getting improvement. Magure was not coming from anywhere near as far back.

Yes but we were certainly better at the start of the season. It was a massive improvement from 2021 and 2020 respectively. We were top 4 and then origin hit, it was the first time Kevy probably had to navigate the period after origin with so many stars missing. Staggs, Cobbo, Haas, Carrigan, Capewell, Oates, Flegler all played origin that year and Kevy put his hand up to recognise he didn't handle that well enough.
The year after 2023 was handled beautifully and we actually picked up some games during origin. It was sensational. 2024 during origin we couldn't even name a full extended bench due to injuries.
Again the anomaly is 2024 here and you can pretty easily say it was injury affected. 2022 finished in a similar way for different reasons and we made the grand final the following year. Whats to say 2025 wasnt going to be the same outcome? Kevy had done it once before, recently too. We will never know but as it stands. Madge has not improved the team at all. Worst start to a season in 4 years.

What point are you trying to make: that Kevvie could've regained the dressing room? He had to go. Madge was the best on offer. FWIW, I was pitching for Shaun Wane, who came up under Madge at Wigan.

We will never know if he had or hadn't lost the playing group. There was no word of it throughout the season, no whispers that the players were divided or against the coach.
Theres plenty of word around about how unhappy the players are with Madge. Plenty of rumours, whispers and reporters reporting. Nobody seems happy to have madge as the coach. The players look unhappy, the fans are unhappy and frankly... I think he's a dunce. A terrible fit for our playing group..

They practically voted him out and players came out publicly and said he cant coach lol, outside of staggs or haas sending you a personal video call about it what more "word" do you need?

Imagine the excuses from the playing group with shaun wane, we've had "too technical", "not technical enough", then we'd have "can't understand his tactics because of his accent"... more than 2 losses and he'd get absolutely hammered in the media and the playing group would be against him, unfortunately, solely becuaee he hasn't taken the traditional route and is english. He may be a good coach, but the nrl media wouldn't accept him which would put this frail, weak minded playing group under pressure straight away

We shouldn't and can't sack him in the next year and a half. The board should 1000% back him with the playing roster. Everyone has since heard Gould c smith, even bloody b Smith and Mason come out and pretty much say "suck it up and get rid of the whingers"... compare that to the players who have complained about him hahaha Elijah Taylor, with eddy pettybourne, vunakece?, joey Leilua, and Michael chee kam backing him in the comments. Add that to what 1910 said about tapau leaving at half time and doing his own thing; it all further justifies having madge as a coach AND 100% what he did to marty. The players and coaches backing the approach have all had success, the ones against the approach have all not had 1/100000th of the success lol
