FOOTBALL English Premier League 25/26 Discussion

Yeah the Cunha deal absolutely stinks. United should be running away from that sort of character but instead they're pushing ahead despite what are clear signs that he's not the right fit for their culture. Should be a massive red flag that he's trying to force this move despite them not even playing UCL, like what is his motivation? (aside from the wage increase obviously).

Talented player but just another case of United being sucked into a big name. I don't see how it ends well, they need less egos not more of them.

No doubt this will blow most their transfer kitty. Sort of starting to feel bad for their fans now, that sort of business would frustrate me to no end.

Sounds more like they are going to buy back Miguel Guiterez from Girona as the have a 9 million Euro buy back clause for him. He was rumored to be going to Atletico Madrid but that appears not to be the case now.
I was watching him the other week. He is awesome. We were sniffing around him until it became apparent that Madrid wanted him back.

Kid is going to be world class in no time.

Seems we're hot on Kerkez instead now which is no surprise, we've been in contact with him since January and agent Szobo's been working his magic. Bit of a risky price for a player that's only had one big season in the PL but clear to see the talent and that he's in the Robertson mould.

LFC seem intent on doing business early and quickly this summer. I like it.

If United win the Europa League final, Gyokeres to United is a very real possibility. He is open to a move to United provided there's CL football.

Zirkzee, Dalot and Yoro all declared fully fit for the final. Good news.

I imagine they will play from the bench.

Arsenal already seem to have this one locked up. The recruitment bloke they've taken from Atleti is well connected to Gyokeres and it's no contest in terms of which project would be more appealing to the player.

Might be more realistic if the Cunha deal falls through. I can't see United being able to afford both.

**** this club is broken.

Imagine having a chance to save a putrid putrid season and putting in that performance.

Fitting fitting way to end this miserable season. The performance, the way the goal was conceded. Just unreal.

Don't worry though, here we go on Cunha tomorrow, he'll fix everything. Another high value purchase like the collection that have failed us all season.

Playing like shit in the league all season but flicking the switch for Europa wasn't sustainable and it showed today. Spurs weren't even remotely good either.

What a miserable team.
