Has anyone watched his chat with his manager on the fanatics channel? To me it sounds like he will either retire or stay next year if we can fit him in.

Why would he go to the Tigpies and ruin an easy transition into our coaching staff when he's already a millionaire?

Also talks about:
- the fire in his belly lit up after a disappointing 2024, insinuated that injuries last year made him think it might be time to retire, but potentially gave him more time.
- family life, it's a big job, Brisbane being home, moving the family was huge. (I will be SO SHOCKED if he leaves either alone, or takes the family)
- Loves the club so much, eternally greatful etc etc
- the SuRvEy - he thought it was odd, said it wasn't anything to do with Kev, players did feel he was hard done by, the players also felt bad for letting him down.
- interested in coaching, said he wants to learn the trade, etc, etc
- talks about Wayne, how much he loves him etc, etc, grateful for it, etc, etc
- NFL - won't go into it
- other things like tattoos, etc, won't go into it
- the wrestle with Pat Carrigan lol, few too many brews on a bonding session, it was harmless bla bla
- we've been patchy, but there is a lot to us, when we get it right it's so good, we're prepared each week, coaches are doing it right, it

If he goes then he'll have to spend a year away from his family, because he already said that he wouldn't relocate them again and has every intention of settling in Qld long term.

So if he ended up going to tigers it would be a one off year to be coached by Benji, for a team that might just make the 8 and he gets a bit more money, but he would be renting out of Sydney for a year, whilst paying off a mortgage in Brisbane... and also living away from his family.

If all he's said is "there's been interest", then that sounds like the question was "I've heard the tigers might be showing some interest?"

I wouldn’t mind the Broncos trying to get Josh Kerr next season. Wouldn’t be too expensive and could play an impact role. He’s also got a bit of aggression which we are lacking.

Kerr won't be coming anywhere near the Broncos. Trust me.

He's not a fan of the playing group and their attitudes.

Lol.

I heard it from him. Our dachshunds play together from time to time at the dog park in Clontarf.

We’ve had a good conversation about some of the issues at the Broncos, some he heard from Herbie.

There’s an arrogance among the playing group and it’s one of the reasons why opposition teams love getting up for us. They love putting us in our place.
