FOOTBALL English Premier League 25/26 Discussion

Bruno is a better 10 than both of them.

Cunha should be on the left, Mbuemo on the right.
I agree that Bruno's best is 10, but Cunha isn't playing LM/LWB. Can't see it. Not in that 3421 setup. He'll be one of the 2 behind the striker.

If you're talking as wingers, then yeah, but that setup then doesn't really have a 10 so same issue with Bruno.

Cunha isn't a wide player at all. Hes either a left sided 10 or you just let him roam. I think Cunha will be good at united, but he won't make them good. Similar to Fernandes in that regard.

Manager needs to learn how to play with wingers then haha especially if the two big attacking signings both play wide.

Maybe the plan would be Mbuemo striker, think he did a bit of that when Wissa was out.

West Ham and United in talks over a swap deal between Sancho and Kudus.

Both players open to the swap deal.

Chelsea paying to not keep Sancho is ****ing hillarious even though it impacts my club negatively. What a stinker

Reports are Chelsea weren't prepared to offer him similar wages to his current deal at United.

That's why I see issues in involving him in any sort of swap deal - no one other than perhaps Saudi will meet his wage demands.

Chelsea meanwhile trying to sign Maignan to play GK. Smartest business they've done in a while if they can get that deal sorted.

Gittens to leave BVB and Sancho can return to where he played his best football. The 5m chelsea paid will end up going straight to Sancho (and then more) to cover the severe wage drop he would need to be taking. There's no good deal to be done for United for Sancho, at all.

Speaking of GK, surprised Emi Martinez isn't being linked to more non Saudi clubs. His age isn't a factor for a GK.

You may have misunderstood. I meant he's a left sided attacking player. He likes to drift centrally from the left.

He can obviously play striker but in that role he naturally takes up left sided positions anyway.

I don't think he's really a 10 in the traditional sense. He had some success there in a few games last season but it's never really been his thing.

We're probably talking semantics anyway it's like the old 'is Salah a right winger?' debate. All these hybrid positions in modern football are confusing.

West Ham dont want Sancho either apparently and thats why the swap deal has broken down.

Mbuemo is a genius.

Comes out saying he wants United .. stirs the United fan base up... gets them all giddy about their "pull"

... then he turns around and demands £230k/w.

:roflhe knows who he is dealing with.

Mbeumo would be a good signing.

With him and cunha, suddenly utd have goal scorers. They wouldnt make top 6 on those signings alone but would be on the up, which is basically all they need to do.

I'd say he will be asking for the 200k Cunha is rumoured to be getting. Plenty of teams will be in for him though so if he does what Delap did and talks to all of them he might get close, but i doubt it. None of the teams linked with him apart from Chelsea if they come back in for him are known to pay big money on wages.

I mean you don't get if you don't ask, worked for many others before him

Exactly. Look at some of the dumb deals they have done previously, its worth trying. That Casimero deal was insane in his favour. To get an increase in his wages to 500k a week at his age just for winning the Europa league would have been insane
