- Yeah I got the starting opportunity and wanted to prove myself
- I just ran hard and tackled hard
- I just think it was my time to step up and me and Kobe did it with line speed and for the full 80
- I was spewing in preseason and it was something different but its paying dividends now
- Payne is a mentor and it is good to learn from him, we got coffee and stuff, Patty too
- I don't care where I'm playing, I'm just happy to play anywhere in the team
- This week is another chance to prove myself again
- I just try not to over think it and just play my game
- I'm still pushing for the starting front row spot
- Payne? helps me to find ways to manage my game, to manage my energy, stuff like that
- I think I've gone up a little in muscle mass
- Bunt brings experience, he's a good leader, good to have him back, so happy

- Yeah mate Shiba is such a good bloke, its a great story, I'm very proud of him
- Yeah yeah 100%, we had a slow start but we all believe and are going good
- Any of the 9s will do a good job
- Everyone knows how good a player Bunt is, he bring leadership and he's such a good talker
- If he can bring what he does in origin, we'll be cheering
- Yeah mate that was one of the best wins I've ever been a part of
- Maguire helped instil belief, just encouraged us to stick to it
- So many players out and the crowd and that sort of stuff, it was such a good feeling
- The crowd was giving it to us every game but we stuck at it and it was great to get the win
- I think the win streak is just down to training hard, competing for spots and everyone buying into what Maguire is selling
- Yeah we are calling him Xavier Haas
- Our backs also are doing really well, its a great feeling at the moment
- If he keeps playing like that, he'll be a wrecking ball (Xman) and he's still only young as well
- My manager is sorting it out, I want to be a Bronco and its looking good but nothing signed yet
- Maguire is bringing that belief back into the club
- Maguire is working closely with me but so is Payne and Pat
- Someone came around the club (someone from union, could not hear who it was)
- Billy is a competitor, he has been doing a great job from the bench but doesn't matter where you put him, he'll do a great job

He had his chance but dropped the ball.

In the end, Madge resorted to our best hooker from the Grand Final: Tyson Smoothy, with the second best to cover the injured Mozer, who should've been 9 from Round One.

Were you at pre season rating the #9s ?

Mozer got targeted by the Phins late last season . He got run over twice . They had rehearsed moves to exploit his bung shoulder . Make him tackle low on his weak side . Until that is not a thing , he can`t be in the top grade .Or it will be a regular occurance .

Yes I see all the things you do but he's been part of the side all year including the last 4 wins.
I'm allowed to feel a little for his situation right?

He`s sposed to be a specialist in his position .

If I threw passes like he does , at my social touch footy games I would be dissapointed in myself .

I do think Hunt is getting it easy taking Paix`s spot . Especially after being out for a cpl of months . Makes me wonder how his cardio is .

If Hunt is not an improvement , that`s a lot of money for a spare wheel .
 
I hope this Hasler circus is still going on when we play this weekend. Giving him the boot with a potential caretaker in place fighting for the job next year could give them something extra to play for.

NSW coaching staff: “we assure blues fans that Haas is nothing to worry about…because the pain killers will numb the injury enough to squeeze out 60 solid minutes and then he has until Game 1 next year to recover from any further complications it causes”
 
Its ridiculous, the entire reason the NBA all stars game has become an embarrassment and I hope origin goes the same way unless it is changed to post-season.
