Hetherington and Gos are okay to keep as long as they are on bench/depth value deals.

Need a couple cheap back up second rowers. Maybe a young Geyer or Shibasaki and a more experienced option if they are out there. If they can play middle as well it will be a bonus

If the manager is leaking that figure to the media then you know it is nowhere near that... more likely he's somewhere between $400-450k.

That's not bad for a 2yr extension for a guy that is pretty much always in our top 17... and as far as Kobe and his manager are concerned it finishes right on the next CBA, so if the salary cap explodes then Kobe will get paid purely because the average wage for them will go way up

I took note of his kicking .
He has obviously put in some work on his long kicks . That was a weakness of his game at #7 previously .

He looked extremely comfortable on the right as well... which would be expected because he would've played right side most his juniors as a halfback.

If he's taking over the 7 jersey at cows then they should be working towards him on the right as well... maybe over the preseason or if their current season goes down the drain maybe to finish off the year

He has evoved .
Cows should be looking for a #6 . I didn`t rate him as a #7 previously , because of his long kicking weakness . Well that changed last night .

I never understood the protest that he wasn't a 7. He was ALWAYS a 7.

I doubt he leaves the cows, but he’s going to be getting insane offers that we won’t be able to match. I’m happy with Mam (who is playing better than Dearden at club level and has done for the majority of his career) and Walsh locking down our spine for the next decade
