Pick your three best players from Sunday’s match against Gold Coast Titans and discuss below. You can change your mind until the poll closes in 48 hours.

A pretty average game from some of our players, but there were a few stand-outs.

Billy the Goat
Staggs (dude is getting back to his damaging best)
Karapani

Staggs, Billy and Shiba for me. Shiba was an iffy one, but he made some excellent defensive plays.

Staggs keeps going from strength to strength. That run at the end was brutal.

Walsh - a quality performance and had a hand in a couple of tries.
Billy - the continuation of his super-sub performances
Talty - was good of the bench 10 runs for 109m + his first NRL try earn him a vote

Honourable mentions:
Willison - thank god we have him locked up until the end of 2027 ... otherwise some club would be offering him a million a year to be their number one prop

Patty - Typical Patty performance

Staggs - really stepped it up since signing his new contract

Shibasaki - having a stellar season the likes of which no one would have predicted

Went Staggs, Walters and Carrigan. Probably could have given Patty’s to Talty.
Just watched the replay and changing Carrigan to Walsh, must have early alzheimers, forgot about his positive involvements and just remembered the bad.

I'm probably thinking

Staggs - He had periods of being up and down, but had maybe his biggest game in yardage with 17 runs for 226m... to ease the workload on Shiba having to back up for the first time. Some big shots in defence to cause errors out of Kelly, who can be rocks or diamonds and produce attack out of nothing, but was shut down

Talty - 100m off the bench in a game where we didn't have Payne. Willison and Patty churned through meters as well, but felt like Talty's came with more impact as he was able to get his nose through and create some quick ptbs. Also got a try.

Third I'm not sure just yet.

Thought Karapani and Mariner were great in yardage... Sidenote: I think I'm sticking with Mariner over Arthars for the time being... felt Mariner's game was better than Arthars last month, plus it might put some fire up Jesse and create some competition for those wing spots

Shiba with at least 2 try savers.. but could see his yardage was down having to back up for the first time... needs to get his head back into the game for the run home

Reece was creating most of our chances, but also had periods where he was a bit too erratic
Billy getting a game sealing try off the bench

I'm probably going Reece, because I don't think we win without Reece... and the rest of the spine gave him pretty much **** all help, outside of Billy getting his try off the bench.

Willison - immense up front
Stages - aggression and ran the lines well
Walsh - went up a gear - slowly showing more maturity - He WILL get there

Normally I’d watch a replay and then give considered thought to who deserves the points, but life is too short to watch that shambles again.

Walsh
Staggs
Walters

And a bonus point to Piakura for finding a new way to knock himself out.
