NRL Round 20 Discussion

The NRL not knowing their own rules?

Sarcasm Traitors GIF by Peacock

Commentary was carrying on early 2nd half about Dragons having 4 penalties to Dogs 0 in 2nd half.

Dogs still comfortably won the infringement count. What a shock.

They had 35 missed tackles and 24 ineffective too. Both worse than Dragons. Wonder what kept them in the game?

That was a dud call against Manly. It wasn't a double movement, he didn't get his arm across the line.

They've got no ****ing idea when it comes to double movement.

Munster went too early and didnt end up competing on it... should've been a penalty... ignored by refs

Do or die pass from Munster pays off.

Turbo forced to jam in because the Waddell and DCE combo is a shambles. Lehi could have made Coates work harder, but was always going to be tough to stop him that far out.

Been a sloppy start so far. Melbourne not on their game but they're forcing Manly on the back foot with their kick chase.

PTSD from 2021 there, what was Coates doing so far in-field?

Turbo shrugs him off, puts Saab over and we've got a tied game here.

Bellamy off to rip some doors off the hinges

Koula slashes through the Storm defence to put Manly in front.

Well constructed set for Manly, they stripped Manly of numbers and when it was time to give it to their key strike player they got it spot on.

10-6 Manly.

Make that 12-6.

Manly don't hesitate and go back to Koula. Melbourne show him the sideline but they get carried away and concede the penalty.

Manly with a golden opportunity to extend their lead here.

Meaney rises above the Manly chase to defuse the situation.

Bullemor finds his front, NAS spins him around on the ground and doesn't concede what would have been a late tackle six again.

Doesn't matter as Melbourne get it all wrong working it out of trouble and Brooks catches Melbourne short down the left. If Manly were to win tonight, Brooks was going to have to step up and so far so good.

16-6 Manly

Melbourne will need to produce another second half like they did against Newcastle.
