Cordner, Lockyer, Smith, V'landys, Johns.
2 qld, 2 nsw and the tie breaking vote if required.Cordner?!
Which is kind of funny considering they were tipped to demolish us 3-0 in Origin this year because of the stars they had in their side.Yeah I guess I underestimated just how short on stars NSW truly are
It was funny because Dobbo (the germo) had to remind Kevvie that he would be re-signed under the 2027 cap and broncos would actually have cap space available at that point.Kev and Dobbo now onto Shibasaki needing an upgrade and we can't possibly retain him under our cap.
It's pathetic this constant contract talk. Just the other week it was unacceptable we let Cobbo go. Earlier in the year they were saying we couldn't keep Cobbo under the cap.
The podcast outside of the interviews with greats is literally the worst rugby league show on the planet.

Just come work for us Kev. Run the water. We need a new Alf.
I feel like he keeps getting in his own way.I hope he keeps his chin up after getting shown the door before the World Cup. I don't think they will keep him and Gordie on TBH.
Only one question matters IMO.I feel like he keeps getting in his own way.
Mal has been framed as some coaching mastermind and a brilliant appointment by Perth Bears because of the Qld dynasty and then moving into a dominant Aus team, both times he jumped out at the right time when the opposition improved. I think he's bang average and Perth are in all sorts to be honest.
One thing that Mal does do as a coach is hire tactical guys as his assistants (Henry, Hagan, etc.)... he accepts his limitations and brings in assistants that complement him. His teams are winning so he still gets the plaudits and media call him a genius.
On the other hand Kevvie seems to bring in "good ol boys" as his assistants... guys that are no threat of taking his job... although he at least brought Barrett in (known across the league as a genuine attack coach) so maybe he was on the verge of changing. Although Barrett was also no threat of taking his job.
Ballin was probably his biggest threat, but he brought in Teo as an assistant when I feel like Ballin could probably make a decent defensive coach.
Then his first appointment in the Aus team is Gordie... like what the **** does Gordie bring as an assistant. At least Willie Peters was brought in, but I feel like that could've been an NRL appointment, because I think there were reports he was looking at Cartwright.
It's like he wants to micro manage every aspect of the football department and doesn't trust to delegate to others so he handicaps himself with underwhelming appointments so he gets to do their job instead... he wants to be the man manager, the tactical coach, the skills coach, the head of recruitment, etc.
He tries to do everything, but that just runs himself too thin, which means not everything is done to its fullest... and eventually it unravels and he's the only one with a target.
The Aus job is a perfect role for him and an opportunity to restart his career, but it feels like he needs to loosen the reigns a bit.
I will say the photos and everything that is coming out of the camp has the boys looking like they're a happy squad... which is exactly Kevvie's best attribute... but the onfield has looked all over the place against a seriously poor looking England squad.
