The one thing that will help us win is it Walsh just runs the ball more instead of the all out pass play.

I dont see hiw we don’t win. This is a reserves grade Souths team ffs!

Although I think I would be a bit more comfortable if we dropped Arthars.

100% - one off game after a bye against a Parra team who played pretty well, isn't gonna make me lose faith.

We've got a gun team, who on their day can beat anyone.

BHQ will get on board once we beat Melbourne (or maybe even after we put 60 on Souths).
 
Honestly stop pushing passes and we are halfway there. I get the future is Ezra and Walsh but Reynolds is captain. Act like it till you're not and get that premiership. Yeah sorry I'm still annoyed. That was just such a dumb loss to the eels.
 
No Wighton, Trell, Graham, Tatola, Murray, Koloamatangi, Sullivan, Walker

Coming off a loss I reckon we put a score on them, Dolphins did put 50 on them and that was with Latrell

Dolphins are crushing a lot of teams at the moment.... They've had one of hell of a hot streak and scored a mountain of points. They've put on over 40 points in 6 games this season, including against the storm and the dogs - including 3 games scoring over 50 points in June.

We play them in 3 weeks and on current form, they will obliterate us.

Would love it but I just can't see it this year, sorry. Our defence is nowhere near up to premiership levels and too many of our players seem mentally weak. We need more hard nosed players who hate losing.

More than anything though (and this has been our problem for a while) I want to see continual improvements from season to season. Top 8, to top 4, to genuinely competing for a prem and then maintaining that position for the better part of a decade. So sick of our better seasons being the anomaly.

Love your optimism as always, but it's starting to feel proper cursed at this stage 😂
 
That loss to Parra means sharks have effectively jumped us... more wins than us with a bye to come.

Given they have a soft as **** draw it's likely we're not getting a home final this year either... so they will have gone from competing for a top 4 spot to battling for the last two spots in the 8.

It's not happening this year and it's not happening until this team can get any semblance of consistency in how they play.

They're not a serious team at the moment and the club as a whole haven't been since Lockyer retired.

We kinda were doing that - continual improvements from season to season (with 24 being the anomaly) - and we are still better than last year.

Besides the Raiders, no one this year has been much more consistent than us. After the Buldogs game, I don't really buy into the "mentally weak" argument. There are obviously deficiencies (our attack is a bit clunky at times, and we have a couple of players not playing great i.e. Hunt and Arthars), but I dont think we're as far off as we think.

Nah, they still had a couple of NRL players left back then, plus Latrell had his yearly on form game.

They've got no one now. Best game for us to rest Hass too imo. Maybe even try a few things.

Yeah under the circumstances I wouldn't be averse to resting Haas too.

If we can't beat this injury depleted Souths team without him we don't deserve to make the finals and considering we've still got the Storm twice and the Dolphins to come probably wouldn't anyway.

Hopefully we put a score on them and get some momentum going in the run to the finals.

There ladder position is misleading, theyre much better than a bottom 4 team ... Especially with Moses at the steering wheel.

They have current and former Origin players throughout their team and a couple of talented rookies.
