Is the Bronco DNA now choking? MOST CERTAINLY NO!

This team is creating its own legacy. Despite not winning a GF. We have played in one and we are well on our way to another one. Proud of these guys. ****ing hated the club 8 months ago but im a fickle bastard. Winning changes everything.
 
We will always have a "chokers" tag until we win another GF. That is the simple reality of it.

We truly haven't done anything..yet. It's awesome to be playing a prelim, but it means nothing if we lose.

We have to win the title.

2023's loss seemed to do what many predicted. Made them crumble. They lost focus, seemed to lose heart and lots of players went on the decline. 2024 was forgettable and Kev couldn't turn that around. It was just more of the middling nonsense we've seen from the Broncos over the last 20 years save for a couple of stand-out seasons like 2015 and 2023. We've been through the crap, the spoon, the rebuilds after rebuilds. We want to at least see heart..... finally, we're seeing some actual queenslander grit and determination. FINALLY.

agree with all of this. I just hate the fact its because of a NSW grub.

I hate NSW less than I hate Melbourne players who play for QLD so this doesn't bother me in the slightest. We've hindered ourselves by not looking at NSW players and coaches whilst their clubs will take any of our players.

Watching that interview with Payne last week, he said something to the effect of it's all well and good to be called the best prop of his generation, but he he needs a ring.

I'm sure there's more players feeling that way now than they did earlier in the season where maybe just playing for the Broncos was enough.
