Did what we had to. Still some very lackadaisical play and efforts. Girls will need to be switched on and focused for every second next week, as it’s going to be hot and loud
First grand final since 2020.
We need to execute cleanly and completely.
Hopefully Prince puts Maddick to 18th player and puts Hicks on the bench. We need another forward I think and Shenae can play the whole game

Great game to watch, the girls should be favourites for next week based on the games this weekend but they'll need to be better again to win it I think.

I’m hoping the 18 errors was a combination of nerves, the heat and as mentioned before the girls knowing they have the game won and just throwing the ball around and having some fun.
Previous years they were bundled out at this stage and I think that would have been in the back of their minds a bit, especially last years result against Sharks.
I am hoping they are more switched on next week and reduce the errors. If they can reduce the errors by at least 50%, I think they’ll be too good for the Roosters. While we weren’t at our best today, neither were the Roosters and should have lost that game against Sharks if the Sharks players played a bit smarter. They are there for the taking.
But we’re off to the GF guys, enjoy it.

As soon as I saw her take the extra few steps and keep her line straight at one defender, I knew she was cutting back in and splitting them to score.

Jeez that would've been a stinking hot game... kick off at 1pm on Sunday when temps were hitting 30 degrees.
It was going to be about getting on top early and then waiting for them to wear down... their defence held up well and the points kept coming.
