Yea that, plus Hughes getting injured early (and Kamikamica as well I think?). We were also playing for a top 4 spot, while the match didn't affect their ladder position at all.

We'll need to be better than round 27.

Yeah I would hope thats what he was trying to do but there wasnt even an option there. Its probably on Mam that one not organising some kind of shape. Hunt might have just pivoted once he saw nothing there.

Still dont like him and Paix in that area. Takes a long time to get to where it needs to go. Not sharp. Especially left to right. They dont really have a crisp spiral. Paix was alot better earlier in the year with his short stuff and decisions around the ruck in good ball. Maybe he can find that for whatever time he is on the field.

This is Harry Grant's MO close to the line - go one way before spinning around and going the other, usually followed by a kick. It gets the fb out of position and with Walsh, he has issues being in position at the best of times.
 
So if the scuttlebutt is true and Mam starts at 6, what is the flow on of that?

Surely we aren't dropping Paix after all the lead up commitments where he has had to front up, etc. Surely you aren't starting Bunt on the bench. And if you are starting Bunt, surely you aren't bringing Paix on as your impact hooker, he is a tackle bot.

Straight swap (if it happens). Hunt would kill it off the bench (into 9).

Update** she did see them and took photos. 😂 I had to be happy for her even though I’m so jealous I can’t make it to Sydney this time!! 😥 They looked super relaxed having a coffee at 630am! I would post the photos but she does not approve LOL!!

I live Bayside of Brisbane (technically not in Brisbane) and I don't recall seeing as many Broncos flags out the front of peoples houses within 100m of my house or anywhere around Brisbane for any GF.

Talking to people around here (clients and pub) after round 27 they were quietly confident of going deep, after Canberra were more confident about beating penref at home. After Sunday I'm feeling the entire SEQ is loudly confident like the golden years.

As many have said the boys look ready for business, they've been here before and know how to do it.

I think the purple cheats had a game plan for penref this year, but not us, they went full strength last round (unnecessarily) to keep us out. They would have been shitting themselves in the last 3 minutes on Sunday at Harry Grants.

Unfortunately I know a few storm supporters and they all claim they don't care who wins, they know whats coming!

I'm surprised Mattel hasn't made a dash ornament, like a dancing Elvis, of Munster throwing his arms up...flaps his wings so much, I'm shocked he hasn't taken off. Is this his method of dissipating heat; like when a dog pants?

Harry Grant seems to see the science in it, as he is copying Munster. Maybe it's cutting edge heat management, in the way the Lions had ice vests? Maybe we should get our entire onfield to flap their wings in unionison during any stoppage of play? I mean, it is a game of the one percenters....
 
Going to be another ass clencher, but I think we'll be okay. Hopefully we don't go down by a decent margin during the game thinking it's all good we've been here before, can't keep relying on that.

Agree with whoever said work Grant over and make him make 60 tackles. Keep turning shit back on the inside in the middle and pulling him all over. Go straight through the heart of them.
