The Broncos double D will be where this is won in defence, No one tests it like the Storm and if the Broncos think they've read it and give up their inside shoulder and don't check and release Harry will be like a shark and keep going there.
Te'o has improved the Broncos one on one head on tackling and that's been a massive focus, today it's going to get a massive test. Last week showed great improvement with scramble but I think the best one on one head on defence wins today.

Thoughts on the Storm Defense being somewhat leaky and could get exposed on a nice dry track?
Power game through the middle with Patty, X-Man and Haas playing like demons. Storm should not be able to match us here if those three play to their potential. Capably assisted through bustling work early in the set through Karapani, Mariner, Staggs and Shibasaki.
Carrigan unlocking Walsh and Mam more so than our last game with service deep into the Storm line.

For people who have watched more footy than me this year, what areas should we be targeting in attack?
From the little I’ve seen I’d like to see us challenging their middles with Ezra and Walsh sniffing around our forwards. I think their initial contact can often be ineffective and could definitely be exploited. Offloads from Haas, Carrigan and Willison when he comes in could be a game changer
I think their edges are generally well drilled and structured so I’m hoping we don’t default to just running block shapes to get to their edges.

I think we should attack the try line… that’s the area you get points
Howarth has made some suspect decisions and been in and out all year - I believe he will be marking up against Staggs.
On the other hand, the opposite edge will have Piakura running up against a sore and sorry Hughes (fingers crossed more sore than he gave away against the Sharks).
The play will ideally be hit one edge with a quick play the ball from Staggs/Piakura and shift early to Walsh to test the other side. Ideally mid field so the defence can not rush up easily as they can on their try line.

I was so anxious heading into 2015 and 2023. I don't like to harness my hopes on a football team that's completely out of my control. However, if you're not willing to take the hits and go after the things you want then you won't get to experience the thrills life has to offer.
It's been a remarkable few weeks as a Broncos supporter. If it all comes together for them tonight, it will be a win for the ages and something you can tell your grandkids about.
Either way it's days like today you share with your loved ones. I love this community and I can't wait to celebrate premiership #7 with you all.
