POST GAME [PREMIERS, 2025] Broncos vs Storm

The beauty is they're collectively a fairly young back five so good for another 4 or 5 GFs before we even think of needing to change.
In theory, yes, but salary cap wise it's extremely difficult to field the same back 5 for that long. There will definitely be changes sooner, just make the best of what we have for now.

I reckon last night was the best I've seen reece walsh ever play..

I think his 2023 season he was good for a longer period (basically the entire team season recap reel is reece walsh highlights) but last night that was his best performance ever.

The fact that he is only 23 is astounding. Hes actually going to get better. If last night is the standard for next year. We won't lose a game!
It was the best game of sport anyone anywhere has played…

Absolute freak show

Where can i watch the full game? Anyone with links?

To think we had two games against storm where we lost both our starting halves this year is incredible.

Even more off the wall when you realise one of them was the GF and we lost Reyno at the 42 minute mark!

I’m of the belief that no other team in the comp could have survived one never mind two games.

I mean to stay in the fight and make the four after losing Reyno and Ezra was some feat, but to do it again in the GF and come back from a 22-12 deficit is staggering.

The main Reece-on was obvious though😀

It's not just the fact that we've won the premiership, but it's how that makes it so special.

Round 23 - Reyno, Ezra and Cobbo go down with injuries, our season looks over.

Round 24-27 - We had to win every game to make the top 4 which included beating Melbourne at Suncorp which is something we very rarely do. The Melbourne game wasn't the only hard game in that run either. We had to play the Cowboys at their home ground, we came back from 14 down against the Dolphins who treat this game as their GF.

Finals Week 1 - We were on a 10 game losing streak in finals games away from home. We had to come back from 16 points down against the minor premiers and we had two players in the bin during the match. We end up going to Golden Point and Ben Hunt kicks his first ever field goal for the Broncos.

Finals Week 3 - It was talked about all week how there would be mental scars from the '23 Grand Final. Panthers were coming into this game on the back of a strong performance against the Bulldogs. Cleary was 26 from 26 in day games since 2019. We had to come back from 14-0 down. Panthers were 98-0 when leading by 12 or more since 2020. Adam Reynolds has his chance at redemption with the attempt at conversion with the '21 Grand Final miss against the Panthers in the back of his mind and he nails it.

Grand Final - People said we played our Grand Final against the Panthers. Storm had never lost two Grand Finals in a row and they had never gone more than 5 years without a premiership since 2006. We had to come back from 22-12 down at half time and we had players dropping like flies with the game still on the line.

We did it the hard way.

Man the symbolism in this photo. A beautiful sunset with the moon up over Brissy contrasted by a bald old gronk admitting defeat.
I’m staying not far from where this pic was taken… the city was dead set showing off today…

Conditions at the stadium were good, went to south bank with the family and it was mint, then the evening was just magic. Full moon rising up over the city…

I do have a pic but it doesn’t do it justice so won’t ruin the story.

Well played brissie!
