Your guess is as good as mine, all three are products of Victorian junior Rugby League clubs.

Quality prospects too.

They obviously have more in their squad, but we're talking the premiership winning side.

Incidentally, I'm pretty sure the Broncos have a Victorian junior in their pathways system. Simi Taeulangi, played centre in the Bears Cyril Connell premiership side - one to keep an eye on.

The strange recruitment is the three Ipswich schoolboys that the Titans and Roosters either missed or didn't want but the Storm did.

I noticed that the other day at the South Sydney awards night.

It's a shame he never got to make his debut. Gerome was odds on to play NRL in 2024 before he did his knee. To do it again in the pre-season was just devastating and robbed the NRL of a feel-good story.

If he had have carried that 2024 form into the NRL, he would have grabbed a few headlines.

Still a fantastic effort to fight his way back from local league to earn an NRL deal.

Walkers and Clydesdales have made their first signing @Big Pete a hooker from Hull KR.

Rugby league pathways are slowly building in Victoria. Most junior league and union clubs are filled with expat kiwi, Irish, English, South African and islander families. Don't underestimate how smothering AFL culture is down here. Kids massively influenced once they start school. Primary schools even have a day where kids wear their afl jersey, do a parade and play every team song. Storm have done a great job getting a foothold in Victoria with members. Junior pathways will always be hard, especially getting grounds and facilities.

Go the Bears!

I don't watch a great lot of NSWRL but that Warriors team seems very good. Koellner is going to have a big say today no Del Luis with a broken jaw so Koellner is the leader of the pack and if he can stand up against NZ Broncos will be watching.

Christensen on the left will be the go to if Warriors haven't done their homework- hopefully he can do a Keeley and grab a double. I wouldn't mind Christensen getting a Broncos pre-season.

Verhoeven training with the Australian team. Interested to see how he goes on the wing.

Is that the PM team?

Is he getting a Top 30 deal or something... given he wasn't named in the reported dev deals the other day.

Or do we just assume the journos have no idea and just guessing
