One thing that does bother me a bit is Billy wearing the black polo and being front and centre of the celebrations.

I remember Steve Price put a Bulldogs jersey over the top of his street wear.

Just the second half of the season he just seemed to click. He and staggs were working better together defensively, and he worked out that if he ran hard, players struggled to tackle him.

I still hate the fact that we're losing Smoothy.

Players like him are crucial to a sides success. Those players just on the outer fringes that fill a role when the main players are away on Origin duty or have copped a suspension or injury. Maybe if he doesn't become our Mr Fixit we don't make the top 4 and we could be looking at a very different outcome for the season.

I can understand why he's leaving, I just hate the fact that he is.

When madge started playing him as a middle forward it did raise my eyebrows as i only saw him as a 9 and thought we may be bullied with him in the front line in addition to paix/hunt.

However, although he wasn't a metre eater, he distributed the ball from the centre of the field well, and defensively is just really good- good contact, always moving, closing gaps and doing the finishing work (3rd man in to drop them to the ground).

Disappointed he is leaving, but he is regular 17 player. Surprised no NRL team has watched him closely, but he will be top tier in England.
