The closest I could find was Kane playing up in Townsville. To the best of my research he did not play in Brisbane during his career.

I'm not sure on his contract. Was it a train and trial situation?

He deserves an upgrade for this years effort, but he has been a journeyman player.

A lot of coach's and clubs haven't gotten the best out of him. He needs to follow up next season with the same resolve to command good dollars at the Broncos.

He's 27, and I would not blame him for taking a 3 year contract, for good money, elsewhere.

Anasta has confirmed the deal on radio down here this morning. Said a multi-year offer from Parra was significantly more money than Brisbane offered, but Jonah was persuaded and impressed by Madge's pitch on signing with Broncos.

The signing of Pezet, doesn't undermine Black. If anything, given the pressure of 7, it does Black a favour.

It speaks volumes about succession planning, and options. Duffy is a wild card. Watching Pezet with great interest in season 26. Madge is doing a great job at the Broncos.

He's 27 and probably has about 5-6 years left in him. He's gotta make the most of it and if another club comes in with a big money offer, that's going to be pretty damn enticing. He's got a family to support after all.
