I cant see Shibasaki leaving at all. He was a bush footy player but thanks to Madge and Broncos support helped him. If he leaves everything could definitely come tumbling down on him.

Agree wholeheartedly.
I've been in such admiration for Shibas 2025 season and his turnaround.
He deserves a decent contract, Broncos goggles aside and I'd actually be disappointed if he stayed for unders.
Love him to pick up a 1.2M-1.5M 3 yesr deal somewhere.
So Parra’s sources said that they never wanted a long term deal and always wanted a short deal and Braith has come out and said no they did want a long term deal lol. He also spoke in how Storm blindsided them in keeping Hughes and they didn’t trust that next year he would be playing every week.
He did mention that how could you ever refuse a broncos deal, now that’s damn right!!!! lol
He did say it’s not signed yet but it is pretty much complete and ready to sign. I’m surprised he’s willing to speak about how they got to this agreement and the negotiations they went through before signing the actual contracts… I would’ve thought get that signature on the dotted line then run ya mouth!! Hahaha
Interestingly enough, he did say it was the Dogs game that made him realise they are wasting his talent at the Storm and that’s the exact thing I thought when I watched that game.

Braith said Storm said they would allow Munster to starts negotiations with Perth and release him if he wanted but only because Pezet was staying.. he said as soon as he told them Pezet is signing elsewhere they revoked their permission and told them to stop negotiations and they will not let him leave anymore….

It was after that game they came out and started putting him in 360 interviews and putting pressure on the whole situation. For mine it was clear as day he was leaving.
