Ashes dilema

Hello everyone. I hope you all all still basking in thd glory of being the Premiers. I know I am having watched the final daily since it happened.

Now I have a dilema, I am heading to Wembley on saturday to watch the first test. Living where I do on the south coast of the UK, I am a fair distance from most league teams in the country. So have never watched it in person. Being my first live game and getting to watch a handful of Broncos is exciting.

Here is my dilema, do i support Australia, to which I have a natural affinity to as there are four Brisbane players playing for. Also Kevvie being coach as well. The other option being England where I was born but really couldn't care less about the players or coach.

Any advice would be great! Or you could all mock me for being English! Knowing Australia should win!

I'll admit that there have been times where I went against Australia, but that was only because I wanted some actual competition to build up...
...Well, there have also been times where the side was mostly NSW players and I couldn't care less either. Is Norff vs South similar in the UK?

My gut says if i see walsh beating four english players to score a try i am going to be cheering! Plus I am probably going up in a Broncos top anyway!

The thing is I have never been much of a national fan really. Apart from the cricket! Hope we beat you in that! Otherwise doesn't much interest me.
There is a kind of North South divide, but i would suggest its more of a class divide. In that northerns are considered poor in some circles. Especially compared to London and the South East of England. Plus the north is a bit more league. South is union. Which is obviously part of the poor/rich divide.

I get it. In International RL, I'll often cheer against Australia if they haven't selected enough Broncos players. With that said, I'd never do that at Origin level. So uh, yeah go with your gut I reckon.
