Actually yeah you're right it's not so much hate these days but I will never cheer for them unless it's for the benefit of the broncos and even then I'll say thanks but follow that with some form of curse word lol

Cowboys - I used to have them as my second team 11+ years ago mainly due to going to school with JT, but their fans base are absolute ****wits and ever since JT retired, there's nothing redeeming about that team at all, just a bunch of insufferable wankers, rather like their fans.

Definitely the Storm for me, nothing but ****ing grubs..Did anyone else notice in the grand final when Benny Hunt was laying knocked out at the play the ball. Harry Grant ran in to dummy half and looked at Benny and continued to play on. Piece of shit..😏 Anyone else would have stopped and helped him because he was in real trouble.. But not Captain grub, Harry Grant..🤬 Typical Storm mindset..

Alright let's do this.

Santa's opinions on non-Broncos NRL teams

Note: I hate all non-Broncos teams on some level.

Canberra Raiders: Love to beat them - but given my kids go for them, I live in Canberra (and I witnessed them getting robbed in the 2019 gf), I do kinda have a soft spot for them.

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs: even when we sucked we would still beat these guys. No real strong feelings, given they're rarely a threat. Their fans and their GM provide good entertainment though.

Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks: I hated them during the Gallen years, but now they dont really register much to me. Just meh.

The Dolphins: They've only beat us once out of six games. I'll probably hate them more when they actually become a threat. Media does a good job at hyping me up though.

Gold Coast Titans: have probably helped us the most by overpaying for all our overrated players. Thank you Titans. Kinda hate them more because of CONEHEAD though.

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles: I hate them because I hate their coach.

Melbourne Storm: never really hated these guys until I joined BHQ. Now for some weird reason they've become my most hated team.

Newcastle Knights: poor bastards. Their fans are too loyal for me to hate them too much.

New Zealand Warriors: given the recent history with players i.e. releasing Walsh just for us, building up Arthars, etc. and what they sacrificed during Covid - cant hate on these guys too much.

North Queensland Cowboys: **** these guys. Love Thurston, but will never forget 2015/16. Also their coach seems like a dickhead.

Parramatta Eels: Grew up in Western Sydney, and have a real hatred for their fans. But given they suck so much I've kinda mellowed on them. Still owe them a few 50 point smashings though.

Penrith Panthers: Yea 2023 still has me hating them. Plus commentary from Brandy makes it even worse. **** them.

South Sydney Rabbitohs: I will forever have a soft spot for Bennett and therefore Bennett coached teams. They also hate the Roosters, who I also hate. Plus that @Redfern_1980 guy seems cool.

St. George Illawarra Dragons: Hated them a bit when they took Hunt and half our team. Now they're just lol.

Sydney Roosters: Hate them because my brother-in-law goes for them, but also because they're just way overhyped in the media. Also **** Spencer. And Teddy.

Wests Tigers: will never be a threat so they dont really register. I like Benji though.

I think as I read others lists, opposition fans definitely help dictate good portions of my list.

Storm is football reasons mostly, but all the deadshits in QLD who never lived in VIC who support the storm purely because they were winning and palmed it off because storm had QLD players, pisses me off to no end.

Cows is similar. The amount of people who flip flopped in 2015... couldn't have given a shit about the Cows til then, but yeah now I hate them alot.

Penrith/Dogs hate for me is almost exclusively down to the fans of those clubs. Penrith a little bit because you hate the success they had, but their fans are deadset among the worst you'll ever come across. They are also on the receiving end of all the knob licking commentary on fox. Which doesn't help.

The - well I played all my juniors for them, so I spent a lot of time in and around that club. If the media didn't try to jam down our throat they would be a huge threat to us id be more likely to not hate them. They also just go after all our players which is shit. The club itself has done not too much wrong to have them on my hate list other than steal some players, and their fans arent really that bad, but the amount of nrl media I take in has made me hate them a lot more due to how they are portrayed.

Chooks - Just always disliked them a bit. I actually hated them a lot more after Cronk went there too. So likely my storm hatred, part of it flowed into hating Roosters more after he went there.

A part of me actually wants to see the Storm in the GF again next season ... Losing 3 GF's in a row would be pretty Lols

of course it would be us keeping our 100% record vs Storm in the GF intact 😎

you know ... these guys are probably the only rival team that I have positive feelings for. i second what you said above, plus their fans are the best rival fans in the game ... everything is done in the right spirit.

Generally speaking yes, I lost a bit of respect over that whole whine about having to play at suncorp stadium crap when we earned it through the finals system.

Their CEO is a whinging pain in the ass which doesn't help... I don't hate them too much, because NRL usually shaft them in some way.

But they've been getting favourable calls ever since that sponsor CEO found his twitter login... and then of course NRL shaft us by making us play them during origin... so that increases the hate for me.

I hate every NRL club other than broncos though

Matter of fact, **** Townsville specifically. City that thinks it's better than Cairns. Get ****ed, Mt. Isa by the sea.

Roosters, you can also get ****ed for being asset rich, cash poor , roided up, collagen-lipped, $8 coffee drinking ****-heads' favourite team.
