SPOILER The Dynasty Begins: The Brisbane Broncos are winning back-to-back premierships in 2026

I never even got the feeling he even likes the broncos so this is a random link up!! Haha Interesting Storm never picked him up for that kinda role? It is a huge coup though!! To have Cameron Slater part of the club is awesome. As much of a grub he was, I loved watching him hahaha If it helps the boys then I guess we’ll take it!!

It’s amazing how times have changed and everyone wants to be involved with the club, we are a formidable force!! Hope next season we rip in again.

It's funny how the broncos old boys are busy bagging the club so DD just goes out and hires old boys from different clubs instead.

This will be good especially when Carrigan takes over the captaincy, he is mates with smith aswell

9 News saying he will be in a mentoring role for the leadership group.

So a little bit misleading by the article to be flagging him as part of coaching staff, etc.

Interesting pick up though.
That’s even better in my opinion. Smith mentoring our next generation of leaders is probably the best value we could get from him

Cameron Slater would be good. Shame we got his terrible cousin Cameron Smith though

Broncos premiership mentor Michael Maguire has pulled off one of the biggest recruitment coups of his career by signing Storm legend Cameron Smith to join Brisbane’s coaching staff.
The most-capped player in NRL history is in negotiations with Maguire to take on a mentoring role at the Broncos as Brisbane look for a fresh edge in their quest for back-to-back premierships next season.

It is understood Smith joined Maguire at Noosa last week, where Brisbane’s coaching staff and CEO Dave Donaghy gathered to begin planning their title defence in 2026.

Did Christmas come early or what? Lesss gooooo!!!

and of course we'll be so flat out that we won't have any lead in time or time to recover after the game.

you are so grasping at straws trying to find something to whinge about but when i read your posts all i see is:

baby crying GIF
So it is challenging then? I'll tone down the big words in future for your benefit shall I?

Nah he will be working with the more senior players coming through the ranks, he won't be replacing anyone. Quite frankly its a good move, I would love to see him work with our dummy halves if possible.
Will be great for Bukowski and Mozer - interesting move though. I like it, just didn't think he liked us? Maybe he likes boat money more.....

you've just named 4 sports ... 3 of which travel all over the world regularly, and none of them have a significantly greater risk of injury because of it. if they did, they wouldn't be doing it.

so i ask you to take your own advice tell all the experts they're wrong

All those sports go to considerable financial and time effort to negate the risk you say doesn't exist. Cricket Australia spends a huge amount of money getting travel right and impact minimal to the players.

One of the biggest contributors to injury is fatigue, guess what travel causes?

Interesting pick up though.

Yeah writing assistant coach is untrue, he is doing TED talks on leadership with the leadership group.
