Andy Farrell was pretty successful in Union.Name me a league forward not from a rugby background who has had anything close to a successful union career.
I don’t know much about his background or union career, Thorn went well, but with a Rugby background. There too much going on in the rucks and mauls for the late starters in the forwards. Maybe there’ll play him at fly half.Andy Farrell was pretty successful in Union.
Haas is a freak tho.Name me a league forward not from a rugby background who has had anything close to a successful union career.
No we haven’t..We have lost better players before,
Not quick enough for a breakaway. Not tall enough for an 8. Would get creamed in the lineouts. I agree, would’ve been the best if he’d started 19 years ago.Haas is a freak tho.
He’s the deadset perfect prototype for an elite 6 or 8…

we are probably gonna replace him with fletcher bakerWe have lost better players before, and we will always lose better players at some point. You dont have to replace a Payne Haas with another Payne Haas, you just need to make sure you bring in players that do their job effectively. Good teams get their succession planning right and thats why they stay at the top level for so long.
I don’t watch as much rugby as I used to… but how tall are 8’s these days? Isn’t Payne 6’5?Not quick enough for a breakaway. Not tall enough for an 8. Would get creamed in the lineouts. I agree, would’ve been the best if he’d started 19 years ago.

If losing Payne Haas turns into broncos finding a million dollar hooker or million dollar halfback then that is still a good trade offHaas is really important for the success of this team, unless we being tino as a replacement this will be a huge loss
This is cope imo.If losing Payne Haas turns into broncos finding a million dollar hooker or million dollar halfback then that is still a good trade off

We won spoons with Haas winning our player of the year... when Walsh is at his best we make GF's and now he's already won one. This is cope imo.
I’d trade Walsh before haas
Presenting it that way makes a good point but it’s bullshit…We won spoons with Haas winning our player of the year... when Walsh is at his best we make GF's and now he's already won one.
Walsh has been here 3 years and made 2 GF's already
