Broncos Roster, Signings and Rumours Discussion 2026

Has he ever played in the back row?
Probably their highest value signing which is a bit iffy. This is pure marketing.
it could just be his manager driving the price up for sure.

Hypothetically tho he crushes.

Theres not many skills involved in playing 6 he couldn’t learn over a training camp.

Would mainly be habitual stuff he’d need to train out of himself due to the differences in the games.

Why else would they be “going after” untried league players
For column inches on the east coast of Australia or for eyeballs from east coast of Australia??

Either way if they're relying on the same audience that watches NRL to suddenly become interested in a different sport played in Europe/US/UAE then I'm not sure they've really thought too much about how the comp is meant to make money.

Haas is generational and will surely go down as the greatest prop of all time and possibly an immortal if he stays.....

But anyone who would trade haas for walsh needs to deadset commit themselves.

An immortal prop is still a prop... a game winning fullback....is, well, still a game winner...
Different people place value in different things..

Walsh has been on a generational tear but he’s still susceptible to a bad game…

When was the last time Payne had a bad game?

If we lose Haas where is our boost in 1 million a year going to go? Any ideas

Aus east coast is still a major Rugby market. How’s it ever making money. No one watches Rugby anyway. I reckon it’ll fall over.

It’s the secondary sport in a lot of major markets…

They’ve got way more money and scope for growth than rugby league does

Japan, Argentina. South Africa, England, South America (other countries), Georgia 🇬🇪 etc
