All runs just is just the possession count, so those two stats are the same.

Kick return meters is probably slightly leaning towards a territory stat... a team with high kick return stats could mean the back 3 are getting it with a shit ton of room whereas a team with terrible kick returns is probably defending attacking kicks all game and has no territory... but Talty, Preston and Gos had kick return meters tonight so it's also factoring in kick offs.

So it seems a completely pointless stat.

I find it funny that NRL doesn't post territory stats... panthers would be ****ing dominating that stat since 2020, but it's never posted.

Why does it matter that she was female? Are you some kind of sexist? What was he doing wrong? What is the actual accusation? Apart from the threats once he started being unfairly harassed?

It's basically the most important stat in the game and they don't post it.

Fox put up live stats so they definitely track it.

I just don't understand why they don't want to post it.

US sports will post every ****ing stat imaginable... it creates engagement because fans can think they'll find something that no one else knows... rugba leeg have absolute nothing stats.

Supercoach and Fantasy comps are better at tracking stats that can mean something in a game than the actual competition administrators

Getting asked for ID when drunk in public is not harassment. And why does it matter that she was female? Because I was obviously raised right, but I’m certainly questioning your upbringing.

I guarantee almost every coach is tracking these stats. Ivans whole formula is based off of it and every other clubs has mimicked it to compete

Effort was better, but when you're carrying guys like Arthars, Jetski, Tawha, P.Riki in your team due to injuries, its already an uphill battle without losing X so early.

Arthars just gets done for speed and done for strength and also gets belted when he finally goes looking for yardage carries, and P Riki/Jet/Talty/Tawha get folded nearly every hitup and show no fight to get up.

They just aren't good enough.
 
We seem so disjointed with our communication in defence. We just dont defend as a unit and i think we had a fair few players who just went on a crazy run at the end of last year which papered over the cracks in this team. Struggling to see how we fix it without moving a few players on and recruiting some more resilient players.

As for the game tonight, we had a go, but we didnt really lay a glove on them.
 
I know we give our hookers alot of shit for not running the ball, but farrr out we don't do a great deal to support them.

There were a few time when BOTH hooker actually got out of dummy half against retreatkng defense and had zero support pushing up with them and became easy targets. Its almost like the team has become so accustomed to hookers just shovelling the ball they dont know what to do.

Also one play that really shit me off, Mozer darted out of hooker to catch the markers not square which he did, but apparently unless your name is Harry Grant, you're ineligible to win a six again.

This is it I feel, the players that played last night that are simply not good enough for NRL for me are

Arthurs
P Riki
Gos
Talty
Rodgers (gives it a crack but isnt what we need)
Tawha

Scary thing is they are the bulk of the side next year. I dont think Madge is the problem, I think its the troops he has available but man he is starting to swing me towards he isnt the coach for us, when he arked up when asked about Semu playing, the kid has to be playing right now, we are props down and he isnt getting played, why not? Instead you play Gosiewski who do know if I have seen a less inspiring player play for the Broncos.

Our squad is so light on Troops, can anyone tell me, Te Kura he is back from that NFL stint? Is he playing QLD cup, its a guy like him too that so much has been invested in and absolutely nothing back, our props are screaming out for help and he is no where to be seen.

Then Walsh and Staggs, man when they are good they are good, then they are how they have been basically all year, scary thing is they are in the 'leadership' team. Probably speaks volumes of where we are as a club this year.

I wanted to see more from Mozer. Giving away a penalty when we needed points inside their 20 with 5mins to go, just isn’t good enough.
We have 5 hookers at the club. The wraps have been around for years, come out and show us why you should be our first choice, give the club no choice.

He was bracing himself for contact. I think they need to differentiate between a bracing shoulder turn and a launching shoulder charge. They certainly shouldn’t have the same penalty for both.
