Not as much fight as the roosters tonight. Way too slow to rush up and tackle and no urgency to bang the ball up. We have lost these past games because we are simply just off the pace. Walsh and the halves can't do anything when we lose the wrestle. Once we start banging these teams defensively and rushing fast off the line we will start winning again. Not nearly enough urgency or fight in this team compared to last year

There were some good moments but unfortunately we looked very disjointed and just not in it to win it.
We looked like the better team in some parts, but some of the errors were just embarrassing and Roosters took advantage of that and wanted the win more than our boys did which says a lot considering we desperately needed that win.
The boys look like they’re over it and ready for the season to end.

Until there is a huge clean out of these QLD cup standard forwards we have this just wont get any better, as soon as Xavier was off we only had 3 NRL standard forwards the rest are all rubbish, no idea how Talty gets a run over Semu, P Riki is absolutely rubbish. The worst pack running around the comp currently, and I know Madge and his presser will annoy me, can almost hear it now "we are trying, just see us at training, I belive we have a team in their it just needs to click"

It's mainly defense not jamming enough. I think our backs and forwards are having a crack but just receiving ball in our own end and losing possession game weekly. We let the roosters roll down the park too easily tonight and once they have the momentum we are ****ed in our own half, losing the ruck then we have no structure to pull anything from the halves and no space for Walsh to try anything without getting jammed.

Is this a coaching thing? Wouldn't we have noticed and addressed this by now? Or is it simply our players dont have the skills/brains to implement a plan... the effort is there.
