Billy says he won't be in the equation until about Round 16, and he'd still have to prove his fitness in the Cup. If Mozer isn't good enough to get his grip on the 9, then maybe he should follow Black out the door.

It would be tough to drop Paix, given he was good enough to win a Grand Final there. I expect he will start the season at 14 with Hunt at 9. But then water will find its own path.

I would prefer Hunt at 7 over Reynolds, and Hunt at 7 over 9, but I can't see that happening in the short term. I think injuries might dictate selection around these numbers.

I'd consider extending Hunt, purely as a bench option.

The only way that happens IMO is if Adam manages to go through 2026 nearly injury free and if the past two seasons have been any indication can't see it happening.

Nah , you don`t play 27 games a season you`re off to the glue factory .

Compare Reyno`s total games the last 3 seasons with Nathan Cleary the guy the media say is the worlds best player .

If Reyno’s fit and Mam is firing, I’d be tempted to play Hunt at 14. Cover for half injuries for 40min, then let him loose in the second. Does rely on us having a strong #9, would love for Mozer or Bukowski to be ready to take that on.
