I took a punt and bought the kids some aliexpress broncos gear for Christmas, I hope I did t just set my money on fire? lol.

Bruv, you should've hit me up! I'll let you know the good sellers.

Usually I message the seller and ask them to send an actual photo of the product that gets sent, as the photos on the listing don't always include sponsor logos, Asics emblem, etc. Also, some sellers print the logos on the shirt, whereas the good ones have them embroidered like the legit thing.

I just had the captain's run jersey arrive this week and you can't even tell the difference from the official one.
 
I think Cyril will never be bested in terms of unearthing talent.

What makes this jersey a tribute to Cyril though?

Was it has favourite colour? Does it have 'C" embroidered somewhere on it?
Can someone shed some light on as to why it's his jersey?

They always advertise them without the logos, etc. I'll sus out whether it's legit.

Edit: They sent back photos of the actual jersey and a message that translates to "Buy it with confidence."

I ended up with a dud jersey off Alie once before and had no issues getting a refund (have never had an issue getting a refund on any Aliexpress issues I've had).

I’ve had a dud as well, same deal just got a refund.

Ooh well I’ll see how I go with the premiership jersey, if it’s shit I’ll dm you for sure. I ended up at aliexpress because my son wanted some training pants and they’re sold out everywhere here, and I figured I’d give them a punt. My expectations are Bali level knock offs 😅

You might be right, but if the club is gonna spruik a shirt as being put out in the memory of one of our legends the least they could do is tell us why.
 
Love the new away strip, and if the white 06 away is an alternate with those shorts Del is wearing, I rate our lineup with more to come.

Which Bruno Cullen explains here, is blue because blue is apparently the traditional colour of Brisbane.

Thanks @theshed I appreciate you throwing some light on the subject.

Wonder how many of us knew that?

I still think the club needs to do better when dedicating something as big as the whole season’s away shirt to a legend.

Many of today’s fans were not even born back then so they need to be reminded of the significance of that part of our history. Just Putting a shirt out with no real background story is fairly sloppy and at best smacks of laziness, and at worst a simple money grab.

There is a pretty decent little video they’ve put out explaining who he was and why he was important.
