What makes this jersey a tribute to Cyril though?

Was it has favourite colour? Does it have 'C" embroidered somewhere on it?
Can someone shed some light on as to why it's his jersey?

Blue is Brisbane's colour the flag is blue and gold, and the original Broncos jumper in 1987 was blue- it never saw the light of day, but it was approved by the NSWRL.

I dunno if I’ve ever seen the original concept of that jersey but if you listen to the newest Inside Ball podcast Kev is talking to Barry Maranta and a couple of the other founders about the formation of the club and they talk about the original blue jersey they where going to run with.

They where doing a take on what the Brisbane Bullets where rocking back then and the NSWRL said yes to the concept aslong as it didn’t clash with the eels and other clubs but they showed John Singelton the mock up and he blew up and said the Broncos could not be wearing blue. Interesting podcast that one.

Has anyone actually laid hands on one yet? I'm wondering about sizing.
 
Yeah I bought one from Rebel today. It's the same size as the indigenous, black dog institute and sabo from this year. Interestingly it is an inch longer than the home jersey but maybe that is because I have worn/washed the home more or could be just general sizing leeway.
 
Funny I went to rebel and tried it on and to me it seemed significantly smaller than the ones I got last year. I’m a 2xl in size but usually size up to a 3xl to have a bit of breathing space since I wear my jerseys so often and they can get hot but a 2xl was way to small for me in this jersey so I’m very worried about the 3xl I ordered from the Broncos.
 
Has anyone heard any updates on the premiership jerseys? I know they said could be 10 weeks but I think we are pretty close to that now. Just hoping they arrive for Chrissy

Yeah wow - not sure. I bought a 3XL and laid it flat on top of last years and they were pretty smack on.

Rebel didn’t have a 3xl so I couldn’t try it and that’s the size I ordered but yeah the 2xl was like a muscle shirt without the muscles to go with it and last seasons jersey I could have fit a 2xl if it’s what I wanted to get.

I am down in sydney and peter wynn's has said 4/12. Might be similar up north?
