Just a Raiders fan passing through to see what the feelings are on Black, but this is an outdated opinon. His record over his first 10 years with halves was terrible. But since being at the raiders:

Look at the quality of play he got out middling talent like Fogarty.
Developed an athlete like Jack Wighton into a half good enough to win the Dally M and CMM... and even if you dont agree with those decisions (i dont) you cant deny he was playing incredibly good football in those seasons.
Blake Austin and Aiden Sezer both played their best football under Stuart.
Also got very good footy out of George Williams at a time english halves came to the NRL and couldnt hang.
Anyone want to tell me Ethan Strange is struggling under Stuart?

All fair points though I don’t really see Strange doing anything at half he couldn’t do anywhere else on the field. He’s a runner and a very good one. No way he should have made the Aussie squad though and he can’t kick to save himself.
 
Canberra times reporting Coby has been granted an early release and starts training with Raiders before Christmas break.
 
Welp. Hopefully Ricky doesn't treat him like shit. Canberra is a very hard place to find your feet, luckily for him he will be going into a big football team. Couldn't imagine being here at his age too.

No doubt he will want to come home. I said that about Coates though, but Melbourne has a heap of shit to do, and I guess he's too busy crying in October to want to come home anyway
 
Raiders fans have to be the most delusional of all fans in the nrl. Heard a one of them say at work today with a straight face, that weekes + strange + black + pattie will be the Australian spine in a few years hahahahaha. Walsh, mam, dearden, cleary, grant, are just a few of the players with 10+ years in them ahead of them bar strange (and even he is likely going to be a centre in a few years). Then you add to the fact that no one has questioned pezet being well ahead of black with broncos not fussed on black. He played for ANY other club and he doesnt get the hype hes got.

These are also the fans that think we robbed them of a premiership this year hahahahahaha they weren't beating penriff or storm this year, or next. Had the easiest draw, got favours in the finals schedule, and still whinge. They will drop out of the 4, and im actually ripping them out of the 8 this year as well. Watch them blame us for pudding them with black haha. No one who rates him has seen him play and everyone who has has said, "meh"...

The only good things about Melbourne:
1. Bagging out the Storm for beating them in the GF
2. Coffee
3. Good weather for drinking whisky almost year round
