Might be anything under Madge they must of seen something in him. In Madge we trust

I think he would be a good lock and if he can up his strength/size to match his physicality then he's 100% an NRL first grader. Not sure he's a first grader at hooker or 6 though.

If Madge can get that size up to match his own mentality then he'll be a very good pickup

He looked promising in the trials last year . But needs to beef up to play edge .

IIRC he did play fine in those trials… but yeah he did look too small. Next year or so will tell us whether he can mix it at NRL level - feels like Deine Mariner has only just now put the muscle on to be a weapon at centre/wing, Bryce needs to bulk up more than he did.

Gotta feel for the kids who have all the talent, footy IQ and work ethic but don’t have the size required to play the position. Guys like Jordan Riki* and Israel Leota had the opposite problem, all the physicality but just couldn’t make it work.

*Not to be confused with Headgear Riki, our new guy who’s got all the skills

feels like Deine Mariner has only just now put the muscle on to be a weapon at centre/wing,

Some clown was trying to tell me Mariner was plenty big enough a cpl of seasons back .
He was a lot smaller than most centres and that leads to fatigue trying to wrestle bigger bodies .

I like they are looking for a point of difference in the pack like hetherington was. All have/can play both edge and middle which if one comes on will become invaluable

I think he's basically been on holidays since the pac champs finished... due back in January
