Like he hasnt had support from the Broncos when he was losing his license for bad driving, or driving without a license and getting caught on his phone, or not cooperating with investigations into his scumbag family, or threatening a police woman with violence and being abusive towards other cops, or fighting a team mate because he stepped on his shoe. We have backed him while other players have been booted out of clubs for less.

Pity he didnt piss off to his family in Sydney years ago. He's lucky we stood by him.

I do think when you have been around a club for so long, its not much to ask for such a big statement in person. I think generally, messaging is fine.

For a bloke that loves the club, he's not showing much emotion in that video about leaving. I remember when Ruben Neves left Wolves, he pretty much broke down in his goodbye video as he had a genuine love for the club.
 
Jeez I'm already sick to the back teeth of all the BS that's being trotted out. That oxygen thief Crawley reckons we have no depth and need to buy ?? and, because Reyno's hanging up his boots at the end of this season, he's stolen the phrase "last dance" from Netflix suggesting that losing those 2 guys sounds the death knell for the Broncs and cruels any chance of going back-to-back. Then .. o'course .. every other media hack grabs onto the phrase to ensure that the drama goes on and on. Pathetic people, the same ones who wrote us off half way through last season then called us lucky. At least Rothfield's been put out to pasture. Thanks for listening guys .. just needed to vent my spleen.

It's the weekend, there's no training, all of the other players have lives and are doing their own thing.

He wanted to break the news to them first instead of waiting until they could all be together and they already know from finding out in the media.. I don't think they all would have been available to drop everything for an impromptu meeting.

Don't see the issue. People making it a far bigger deal than it is.
 
The video of Haas posted on our official socials at least provides comfort around the harmony of the group, his relationship with Madge and his commitment to the team for 2026.

I feel a lot more comfortable with our ability to go back-to-back than I did 72 hours ago.
 
Vossy had his say this morning on SEN.
After spending a fair bit of time with the Broncos, for the foxsport show The Fan, including time with the playing group that wasn't allowed to be filmed or recorded he said he could see nothing that made him think the playing group was divided in any way or off the coach in any way.
He saw a totally united happy group.
Amazing though how many others still want to push the Madge is off with the players, like it's impossible for a career coach to learn from mistakes and make adjustments.
