He’d cry into his $1.5M contract tbhIt probably won't happen but I would honestly love to see Souffs finish bottom 4 this year, just to see how Haas reacted.

It’s a very “look at me” approach to………..whatever it is he’s doing. The Hakeem thing is hilarious to me. Love Haas the player but the rest of it is just high maintenance dribble. He's one of our best ever and we've been lucky to have him but I think we all need a fresh start from his bullshit.
When I heard that it made me think maybe the move to Sydney is religion related. There is alot more mosques in Sydney than Brisbane. The Hakeem thing is hilarious to me. Yeah I'm starting to think that is a bit of it as well... not really just him, but also his kids and the siblings he's now looking after. When I heard that it made me think maybe the move to Sydney is religion related. There is alot more mosques in Sydney than Brisbane.
My guess is SBW is in Sydney,Yeah I'm starting to think that is a bit of it as well... not really just him, but also his kids and the siblings he's now looking after.
I'm assuming SBW is in Sydney?
To me it does really feel like his chapter at Brisbane has closed now that he's won a comp... there was always so much concern that he would head to rorters or dogs via SBW.
As soon as he won the comp he probably felt that his job was done in Brisbane
Walters claiming that he would have been able to keep Haas if he was coach.
Kevvie is sounding more and more like a bitter ex every time he speaks.
He was asked the question directly and really had no choice but to say yes. Looks a bit strange if you say nuh he leaves for Perth if I am still there.
It's a stupid question. He hardly trumpeted it.
“Yeah … but I’m not coaching there.
“If I was coaching in the NRL, he would be one of the first players I would target, so hats off to Wayne Bennett.
“He has fallen in his hands, it’s great for the Souths fans.
“It is a bit strange without knowing the full details and facts.
Didn’t Payne try and get a release under Kev? It’s all BS, Kev couldn’t deliver, club sacked him and he’s got the sooks.Walters claiming that he would have been able to keep Haas if he was coach.

Absolutely right mate, I'm going on a mission to post Payne's (Hakeem's) statement on every site that's still trying squeeze another few days of drama out of this event. He's a great player but it's the same as Fifita leaving, Farnworth leaving, Cobbo leaving ... all the Chicken Little journos come out of the woodwork screaming "the sky's falling!! ... it's the end of life as we know it at Redhill "
I would say the issue is the fact it was two weeks and in Toowoomba. I live here and I wouldnt go to a camp here for two weeks....Something still tells me there is more to the Payne stuff. His manager came out a few days ago and said IT IS ALL ONLY BEACUSE OF WAYNE. Wayne this, Wayne taht. Payne came out yesterday and said its purely because of family and did not mention Wayne once (I guess the club could have asked him not to say anything about Wayne) either way the stories aren’t matching up.
Its actually ironic because last year throughout the year I was thinking I wonder how Payne and his mrs survive off field.
Under Madge, the broncos do a lot of lets say ‘team bonding’ where they go on camps for a week or so i.e Newcastle mid-season, or they will go down to Sydney for a few extra days etc to try and build that bond between the group. But with Payne, he has his mrs, two young kids and also his 2 brothers. Thats 4 dependants. And when he is away for these extended periods of times, it would be the sole responsibility of his partner to look after all 4. Not easy. As we know, there wouldn’t be any help from grandparents etc so really his Mrs would take on a massive responsibility. .
Then you look at this year/end of last.. GF (longer then usual season), internationals, back to preseason, 2 week camp in Toowoomba, back for a couple of weeks, 2 weeks in England. It would certainly take a massive toll on him and his family. I have no doubts spending all this time away from his family has him concerned and forever checking in, thinking of them etc.
I genuinely think he’s just had enough of it. And we know Wayne is a players coach, so I dare say he wont be spending half the amount of time away from his family then what he currently is.
So in concussion, it’s a bit of an odd one. Is Madge going overboard with trying to ‘unite’ these boys? Is it possibly creating issues for players/family off field? And if so, he and the club will need to look at how they are doing things, because Payne isn’t the only young father in the squad, all these boys have family. We all know Reece has a young daughter and if he is experiencing similar, you dont want him to also walk away also.
On the Toowoomba camp, does anyone know what went down? Kev and Dobbo said on their first podcast for the year (so a few weeks ago now) that there was issues. Kev had a smirk and they left it at that. Obviously Billy would pass on all, so they would certainly know what went down. But it didn’t really get out in the media? Busted also said on his poddy yesterday that there were issues in Toowoomba.
Anyone know anything?
I suspect that Payne was potentially one of the agitators that ousted Kevvie... zero sources, zero inside info... just a hunch based on personalities and things that popped up during the NSW origin camp when they won under Madge.Didn’t Payne try and get a release under Kev? It’s all BS, Kev couldn’t deliver, club sacked him and he’s got the sooks.
