As we know, there wouldn’t be any help from grandparents etc so really his Mrs would take on a massive responsibility.
Aren't her parents/family around.

I heard her family was in NSW? Could be wrong.Aren't her parents/family around.
I would say the issue is the fact it was two weeks and in Toowoomba. I live here and I wouldnt go to a camp here for two weeks....
I have never seen a football team do two week camps. They werent exactly out in the middle of no where working hard either. They were around the "city" I believe for the whole time.
His Mrs probably had the shits he was gone for 2 weeks dealing with all the kids. Might have asked to go back for a day and Madge told him where to go. Who knows. Could be all bullshit.
I listen to that pod but it’s such a punish. If it wasn’t for the guests, it would be a waste of time.
Kev goes over the top in trying to not be controversial - and then mutters something stupid which causes controversy.
Dobbo just dribbles rubbish, name drops and ups himself all the time and the most frustrating thing of all, they both cut in when a guest is trying to answer a question.
For example, Kev asked Brad Thorn if he wore his AB jersey for the warm up. Dobbo butts in and explains how the AB’s have a rule about not pulling on the jersey before the game.
FFS, just let the man answer.
I think you are being too generous.!kev & dobbo have a combined iq of 50

Yea fair enough, still feels a little shit to me. If i got something important to tell my best mate, im not texting him. Im knocking on his door. I am from an older generation though, so its probably different for younger fellas these days.
Oh shut it you miserable bastard. They had a team day followed by a flight the following day. Its either he told them by text as a group or they find out in the media... what would you rather??Informing blokes you have played alongside and been through good times and bad through whatsapp you are leaving is pathetic.
Nah dude that's not fair, he is not a miserable bastard because he has a standard. Im the same so maybe its a generational thing.Oh shut it you miserable bastard. He would have called Madge and DD to tell them and then I'm sure after the text he would have fielded and made phone calls himself. It's not that deep man.

I think dropping big news to people you are close to in that way is cowardly and kind of shit.
Be a man, tell them in person.

Within hours of his decison Wayne leaked it to the media. It's a day off, if he calls patty, patty tells reece, reece tells jaiyden hunt and then jaiyden Hunt tells Braithen Scott. and by the time he has gotten to his 5th phone call someone is in the groupchat saying it anyway. His decision came at a point where an in person discussion on a team day off was not possible. Half our team lives in various south east qld places. He either texts them and then takes and makes phone calls or they find out in the media from uncle wayne.Nah dude that's not fair, he is not a miserable bastard because he has a standard. AFTER they have already found out via the media? Is he going to door-knock each of the other 29 in the squad one after the other?
Nah, but for his close bros like Patty, its shit.AFTER they have already found out via the media? Is he going to door-knock each of the other 29 in the squad one after the other?
Or, Patty being a bro, doesn't run and gossip like a bitch about a close mate and let's Payne tell the others in his own time?
