Yeah but it's not so hard to grasp for Wayne to have done the right thing and not leaked it...Rofl you are deadset moronic.
Payne could stick his first up your ass while walking out the door and you would thank him for it.
People acting like Payne had to make this decision immediately and tell the press TODAY.
Hey Wayne, im coming to the Rabbits but give me time to tell my team-mates and do the right thing.
NOT SO ****EN HARD TO GRASP IS IT.
Doesn't matter whether it was Wayne, Blake Solly or the janitor that walked past the room whilst they were popping champagne bottles. THAT SHIT WAS GETTING OUT. The fact it didnt't prior to a signature is as unheard of in rugby league as it comes. WHAT WORLD DO YOU SERIOUSLY LIVE IN. It is 5 days later and the media cycle has ended already. TBH 36 hours before getting on a plane and journos having zero access to you, your staff and your teammates is a ****ing dream outcome. Nobody cares anymore, except the people that release late week podcasts and are milking the last drops of these stories. Move on.
And we all know why Wayne leaked it to the media... It's cause the Broncos had a right to reply and they knew once it got out Payne had signed elsewhere he wasn't going to back out of it. It's psychological manipulation.
He didn't waive the day 10 cooling period so clearly he was interested to see what Brisbane would come back with. Hence he had to tell them. If you think there aren't any loose lips in that building you are an even bigger moron.
You are clearly demonstrating how little you understand about this. How about you take a chill pill and go have a nap you old ****.
Like I said a phone call or two to some important teammates would have been good but at the end of the day I can say with fairly high confidence he was on a time crunch to let the team know before that story got out. The phone calls and discussions could wait.
P.S. Payne's fist feels awesome if you were wondering...
